You frowned when you heard Deaton ask about Wicca.

"Witches and stuff like that?", you asked. It wasn't very farfetched, after everything you had seen. If druids and nogitsines existed, why not witches? You just didn't see what it had to do with the ghosts you had seen.

Stiles walked up to you, putting a hand on your shoulder as if to comfort you.
"Another nogitsune?", he frowned. He had singled out that piece of information, and you couldn't blame him for that. It must have been one of the most traumatic experiences of his life, living through that time and not being able to influence what he had been doing.
"What do you mean? I thought we dealt with that? Don't tell me we have to do it again. Please?"

You put your hand on his, trying to calm him down, even when you barely were calm yourself. Your hand was shaking. Seeing dead people wasn't exactly one of your favourite experiences ever.
"I'm not possessed, am I?", you wondered, looking at Deaton.

The vet slash druid shook his head.
"I'm fairly sure you're not. Not now, at least. And this one seems to work differently. You saw dead people... and I don't think you could have done that if you were just a regular human. Which is why I was asking you about Wicca. You might be one of those witches, Y/N." He took out a book and opened it on the table.
"Wiccans have links to nature, and sometimes they can communicate with the dead. The dead just usually don't try to shoot them, so I'm a bit scared there's another nogitsune involved there."

Stiles squeezed your shoulder, trying to hide his own insecurities, but you were glad he was there.
"We'll get them, Y/N. I promise. We managed to get rid of the one who was targeting me, we'll solve this as well..."

You needed someone to say that. You needed some reassurance after you had seen Aiden, after you had seen Allison. You needed to know everything would be ok.
"Please just tell me I'm not going mad, ok? I'm afraid of Eichen House..." You had been there once when Stiles had been there, and that place gave you the creeps.

Stiles walked around you and knelt in front of you, grabbing your hand.

You couldn't help but start to laugh.
"Please don't tell me you want to marry me?"

He started to laugh as well and scrambled back on his feet.
"I should not have done that... Nope... wrong move. I just..." He looked at you, the laugh wiped from his face again. "I'm not going to let you go there. You're not going mad, just as I was not going mad. We're just dealing with some really freaky stuff here, but we've solved it before, we're gonna solve it now." He glanced back at Deaton. "We are going to solve this, aren't we?"

Deaton looked up from the book he was studying and he nodded. It was a gesture that gave everyone in the room confidence.
"I'm not planning to have some Japanese ghost beat me. Not after all we've solved. We'll manage this, Stiles... Y/N will get rid of this."
