Now that I knew that Taylah hated my guts, I have been really cautious not to get on her bad side. Who knows what she would do. When Erin and I walked back we sat down with our group.

"Oh hey Kate" Taylah greets me 'unexpectedly' walking past my group.

"Hey . . ." I replied not giving eye contact.

"So I heard you and Cody made out on the beach"

"What!?" My whole grouped yelled. I nearly chocked on my drink.

"What where did you hear that? Cody and I didn-" I tried to explain going a little red.

"Oh darling its ok. Its only your first date...If you would even call it one" she said putting her lipgloss on.

"How did you-".

"Please, like you've ever been on a date before" She said with a glare.

"Well at least I don't tune every guy in the school just to get over my break up" Then I stood up and left. I was so mad at her and but felt bad in a way. Was I too mean?

"Hey Kate, wait up" a voice from behind me said I turned around to see Danielle.

"You ok?" She asked.

"Yeah" I said "Its just that Taylah really gets on my nerves" I mumbled.

"Yeah she can be a bit like that" Danielle said with a shrug. "Well I was thinking maybe you could come over to my place on the weekend. It might take your mind off Cody and Taylah."

"Yeah sounds fun, I'll have to ask my mum but when she says yes I could give you a call."

"Ok cool" "Well here pass me your phone and i'll put my home number in" Danielle said I handed her my phone. "Wow".

"What?" I asked.

"You have the same phone as me".

"Really?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah Nokia C3 right?".

"Yeah" I said laughing.

"Thats so funny" she said. Danielle told me stand in front of her so no teachers would confiscate the phone.

"Thanks" I said as I quickly put my phone in my pocket.

"Hey could we not go back to the group for the rest of lunch" I asked.

"Sure" she said with a smile.

"Thank you" I was glad she didn't question it. So far my best friends were Danielle and Erin. Mariah was nice but we didn't talk much, neither did Jess...Maybe when our group gets to know each other we will all be best friends by year 12. Danielle was super nice, we sat together under a big oak tree until the bell for 5th Period rang. At least I have two really good friends to hang out with so I wouldn't be a loner.
