Chapter 31

Sorry this chapter is a bit short I have been having a serious case of writers block! I have to admit its not my best, but its better than nothing right? Also I would like to give a quick shout out to my bestie @JenBis, If you haven't read and fan her stuff its really good and thats where most of my inspiration comes from too and thanks for the help Jen Jen :P

Next update is coming very soon!! Sorry it has taken me so long to upload I feel really bad but I have had heaps of assignments its not funny like about a total of 10 this month!!! So much work my brain is in need of relaxation, so this week or so might be upload frenzy!!!... We'll see...ALSO There will be a awesome sequel I think you'll all like it xoxo

- - - Mariah's P.O.V - - - 
I quickly dashed out of the hall avoiding everyone's piercing eyes as I heard the way they were talking about me, it was horrible.

When I reached the principles office my heart started pounding more than ever. I had never gotten into any trouble at school, I was a straight A student looking for a bright future and to fit in with the right people, and obviously Taylah is not one of them. I slowly knocked on the wooden door and was just about to turn the handle as the door just swung open and I saw a very upset Mr. Sung.

“Come in” Was all he said as I took my seat.

“Mariah do you know why your here?” He asked.

“Yes” I replied as I refused to look at Mr. Sung. How could Taylah have manipulated me like that?! I was ashamed of myself that I had given into Taylah’s dirty tricks and now I had to pay the price.

 After a good 15 - 30 minute lecture, I left Mr. Sung’s office I to find Kate standing and talking to a lady at the reception desk.

“Hey what are you doing here?” I asked.

“Oh um I have to hand in my work from detention, what about you?” She asked.

I knew that I could trust Kate, she was so nice and I knew she had fell a victim of Taylah as well.

“Uh...well...Taylah made me sabotage the voting box for the talent show so that Xavier would win. She told me that if I didn’t do it she would post all of my secrets on the school website. So I did, now the principle has found out because one of the teachers saw me do it and my punishment is that I have to write a 5,000 word essay on why our school rules are important.

“That's how I got into detention too! Why does our essay always have to be school rules?”

“Its probably the hardest topic they could think off the top of their head”

“Yeah probably” Kate agreed, “I am really annoyed at Taylah right now, I wish someone would teach her a lesson”

After a moments silence I decided to speak up “I think that should be us”

This could be a perfect time to give Taylah a taste of her own medicine, why not? Kate and I have both been victims and I sure its not just us. Plus, I knew that this would defiantly be a one off thing for both of us.

“What?” Kate asked curiously.

“I said I think we should give Tay-”'

“I heard you, I just can’t believe you want to, you look so innocent”

“Aren't I?” I say giving my best angelic face possible.

“Yes and its perfect”

I just let out a small giggle, “Ok meet me at my place after school and we can go though this together”

“Ok” She agreed.

- - Kate’s P.O.V - - - 
Other than the detention the show case day was actually pretty fun, there were heaps of stalls and rides and I must say I am glad my parents chose this school to send me too.

“Hey Codesta your performance was AMAZING! I loved it to bits” I told Cody giving him the biggest hug possible.

“Thanks, I saw you recording us, what are planning on doing with that footage anyways?” Cody asked curiously

“I’m not sure, its a good keepsake though”

“I’m glad you think so”

“Hey I have an idea” I said happily jumping up and down like a little kid.

“What?...” He asked skeptically.

“What if we make a YouTube account, I don’t know call it Cody’s Music Channel or something and we post heaps of videos of you singing and playing guitar, I am CONVINCED that it will be a hit”

“Oh...I don’t know Kate...I mean-”

“Aww come on! Please it will be fun! Besides that way when your all famous and rich you’ll be able to thank me, I can see it now, you on the road performing all over the world with me as your manager” I say while enthusiastically waving out my hand to help him picture it and all he did was laugh.

“Alright, you can do it, but just one! Then we’ll see”

“YAY! Ok just one!” I promised. I was going to be the best manager out there!

- - - Cody’s P.O.V - - -
Kate made me laugh and after that all I could think of was the fact that my performance with Nusi is going to be on the Internet for millions of people to watch, like and comment. What if I get hate, what if I sound worse on camera than live, what if...what if...is that all I can think of? What if?! What are the chances of a massive record label seeing it anyway, yeah...it’ll just be a bit of fun thats all and at the most it will probably have a couple hundred views.

At the end of the day, Kate and Mariah caught the same bus, she must be doing something together. She promised that she would Skype me as soon as she got home to set up the account with me via screen share, but all the way home all I could think of was what if a record label did see Nusi and I? and what if we had to move to another country?!
