Chapter 16

The dreaded Monday morning came really fast. I woke up at 6:00am, got dressed and ready for school. I wasn't really in the mood to face school knowing that Cody would be there.

Once I was completely ready for school at 6:30am I logged onto Facebook so that I could block Taylah when I saw heaps of pics from last night and saw that Taylah was in a relationship.

She wouldnt!? No! Could she be going out with Cody?! As soon as I saw that status I logged off so fast that I nearly broke my computer. I sat there with my head in my hands and about 5 minutes later mum came into my bedroom. She asked me what was wrong last night. I told her everything and by the end of it I was a mess, crying into my mums shirt.

"Aw Katie" She said "If a boy treats you like that the he obviously doesn't deserve you, it's a shame too, I thought that one was a keeper"

I nod sniffing and whipping away my tears.

"Your right mum" I said confidently "I'm not gonna let one boy ruin my day"

"Thats my girl" She said as she kissed me on the forehead, "I'll be ready in about 15 minutes meet me in the car".

"Ok" I shouted as she left and headed downstairs.

That 15 minutes went really fast because before I knew it I was running downstairs to get my bag and was on my way to school. When I got in the car she started asking heaps of questions and for that moment I was eager to get to school. What is with my life?

When we pulled up outside the school I kissed my mum goodbye and headed towards the school gates.

I decided to try and avoid talking to Cody and Taylah but then I saw them walking together. Taylah then took Cody's hand and kissed him on the cheek and gave me a dirty look. I continued to walk into the school gates and tried to pretend that they didn't get to me when really they did. How could she do this to me! Yesterday she was flirting with Xavier now she's all over Cody! Boy did she make my blood boil.

I cant believe I got my heart broken to a guy I was actually starting to fall for. I knew this was a bad idea. We were going way to fast and he took advantage of that. PLUS I have already made what looks like an enemy. My life S.u.c.k.s.

"Hey Kate" Danielle said as I sat down with my friends.

"So how was last night?"

"How did you-" I said then turned around looking at Erin.

"You told them didn't you?" I asked.

"Guilty" she said.

"So" Mariah said "Tell us bout it".

"Well..." I said. I told them everything about last night, even about Taylah.

"What a bitch" Danielle yelled out.

"Yea...but please don't say anything..."

"Promise" they all said.

"Are you ok?" Danielle asked. I didn't realise I was starting to cry.
