In the afternoon Mariah invited Jess and I over to her house. Jess was a very quiet girl and didn't talk much. I took this as an opportunity to become closer friends with her and maybe she would become louder? She wasn't really included much in our group and was glad to hear Mariah was including her.

I texted Cody to tell him not to worry about picking me up and that I would find my own way home seeing as we were still kinda in a fight I assumed he wouldn't mind and I my dad telling him about this afternoon:

'Ok sweetie you can go could you text me Mariah's address and I will send over your clothes and don't worry I'll get mum to help me seeing as I have no sense of fashion.

Love Dad xx'

I was so excited about going to Mariah's I texted back dad as fast as I could. When the school bell rang I had to run with Jess and Mariah onto the bus.

We ran as fast as our legs would carry us so we could get a spot on the bus. If you couldn't tell I never really had to catch the bus and my school back in Hawaii wasn't from kinder to year 12 so there were less students. Once seated we seemed to talk a lot and Jess even put in some input. It was all going great.

When we got to Mariah's house she brought a bowl of snacks upstairs as we wall sat around the laptop taking turns of logging onto Facebook.

"We should start getting ready at 6" Mariah said finding a comfy position to sit in.

"Agreed" Jess said "That way we will have enough time to get to Burleigh Heads"

"Wait where?" I asked, seeing as Cody was going to pick me up from my house he never really told me where the bonfire was held.

"Burleigh Heads" Mariah said with a sigh, "Its where the bonfire is"

"Oh right.." I mumbled.

We all had a really fun time, we gossiped about Taylah, my old house in Hawaii and even about Cody. I was really blessed to have such kind friends. That was before Mariah was on her mobile for about half an hour texting someone non stop. Jess tried to peek over and see who she was texting. Mariah leant the other way

"Do you mind?" she asked Jess sharply.

"I just wanted to see what was so important that you had to be on your phone for nearly an hour." Jess replied.
