Pippa's POV

Once we got back to my place we put the decorations and things in my living room.

"Ok so do we decorate the sleeping bags now or later?" Reneè asked me.

"Well, we could wait until tomorrow or Saturday, but we have two shows then... So yeah we should now."

"Yeah because we can't let Lin see Jessie's sleeping bag." Jazzy said.

"Good point." Jessie said. "I'm sure they know but I don't want them to sabotage my sleeping bag."

"Yeah so Jazzy and Jessie you keep your sleeping bags here because Jessie you have Lin and Jazzy you have Ant." Ari said.

"Oh Pippa." Jessie tapped my shoulder.

"Yeah Jess?" I ask her.

"I really don't want you to have spent a lot of money on me with this and the makeup so I'll have Lin pay you back." She said.

"No Jessie it's ok. Lin and I already went through this when he told me he was adopting you. He already tried to pay me in advance. Jessie you really don't need to worry." I said and put my hand on her shoulder. "You may not be Lin's kid biologically, but gosh you guys are like the same person."

"Are you sure Pippa?" Jessie asked me.

"Yeah. It's ok Jess."

Lin's POV

All of the guys went home around 8 and Vanessa still wasn't home with Seb. Jessie should be home soon too.

I got a text from Pippa.

Hey Lin, Jessie wants to sleepover tonight. Can you bring her clothes to the theater tomorrow? I have a pair pjs she can wear. :)

I smile. I'm glad Jessie is close to the cast. I write a response.

Yeah, are you ok with her sleeping over? But wow Pippa, she's barely known you for a week and she already wants to be with you a lot

I get a quick reply.

Of course I'm ok with it Lin. And yeah she seems to like me :)

I write back.

Ok be at the theater at 10. She wants to learn Groffsauce's songs.

I get a quick reply.

Ok gn Lin see you tomorrow!

Goodnight Pip!

I stare at my phone when I get a text from Jessie.

Goodnight dad! Love you ❤️

Goodnight Niña. Love you too ❤️ and be good for Pip.

I look around and sigh. I open Twitter.

I write:

Look at my Niñita. Pride's not the word I'm looking for. There's so much more inside me now.

And I attach a picture of me and Jessie. I press the tweet button.

Very quickly I get responses.

The door opens and I see Vanessa and Seb.

"Where's Jessie?" Vanessa asked me.

"She's with Pippa for the night."

"Oh. You look tired."

"Yeah. I think I'm going to go to bed now." I told her and kissed her cheek.

"Ok honey. Goodnight."

I walk into the bathroom and get ready. I decide to write my goodnight tweet and go to sleep.
