Jessie's POV
The lunch with Toby was cut short because Lin was showing me pictures of us on his social media and mine as well.
"Niñita, see, that's you with Seb." Lin says smiling showing me with a little boy. "He loves watching Chuggington with you."
"He's very cute." I say.
Lin sighs. "Mija, look, you may not remember anything that's happened at all, but you're my family now. And I need to let you know that. Please, just try. I'll let you sleep."
I fall asleep after he walks out of the room.
Dream:
"Dad!" I say to a man unrecognizable.
"Mija!" He yells and I realize it's Lin. "There's someone I want you to meet."
Then Walter walks over. "Hi Jessie." He smirks.
"No.. no.." I whisper trying to run but I can't.
Walter walks to me. "You know, I always knew you'd end up like your mother." He laughs and so does Lin. "Nighty night." He says and shoots me.
I wake up screaming.
"Mija!" Lin yells as he runs into the room. "What's wrong?"
"Get away from me you psycho!" I yell. "You let him shoot me! That's why I'm here! He shot me and you let him!"
"Mija who? Who shot you?" He asks me trying to hug me.
"GET AWAY!" I yell, and at this point I'm crying and doctors are in the room.
"Sir we need you to leave." The doctor says. Lin leaves. "Jessie what's wrong?"
"He let him shoot me. I don't want to go with him." I whisper.
"Who did he let shoot you?"
"Walter. Walter was my step dad and he said 'He knew I was going to end up like my mom' and shot me. And Lin allowed it." I said.
"Sweetie, I'll send a woman to talk to you and you can talk to her more about it, okay?" He asks.
"Yes, please don't send Lin in." I beg.
"I won't. I'll come right back." The doctor says and leaves.
