A Day With Mr. Ray of Sunshine

Jessie's POV

A/N: This chapter was written by mayzealand ! This was her prize for the cover contest! Hope you enjoy!

"Hey, Ramos here! What's up, Jessie?" I smiled slightly as I heard his voice over the phone. His voice always reminds me of his constant silly grin.

"Nothing much. Lin has stuff to do today and said I could ask one of the cast members to hang out. I was just wondering if you wanted to go get pizza?" I ask him and immediately hear cheers on the other end of the line.

"UM YES!" Anthony yelled at the other end of the line. "What time were you thinking?"

"Let's say noon? Yeah noon." I say.

"Be there in an hour!" Anthony says gleefully and hangs up.

I walk to my dresser and look through.

What to wear? Hmmm ooh this!

I grab jeans and my hoodie that says "You want a revolution, I want a revel-mew-tion! So listen to my declaw-ration!" I lace up my Hamilton Converse and put on lip gloss. Deciding that I look fairly decent for my meetup with Ant, I sit in the living room.

Soon enough I hear the doorbell ring. I jump up, making sure that I have my phone, and walk over to the door. "Ramos?" I ask.

"Yep! Hurry up I want pizza!" He says and I laugh. I grab my key and head out, locking the door.

Le time skip to le subway

Honestly Anthony. Why do you want to embarrass me? My "guardian" as Anthony insisted me to think of him, gripped me tightly while I held onto the grimy pole. At least with him standing there creeps wouldn't try anything.

"Alright Kid, I'm going to sit down at the next stop. You hold your own, okay?" He told me.

"Cool." I nodded. Not cool. What if there's a new weirdo that didn't see Ant and I together? As I pondered the proceeding of this subway, many stops had passed. Soon enough I wasn't worried about the fact that Ant was sitting and not next to me. Perhaps I lowered my guard down a little too soon.

Steel floor. Dirt. Gum. All flashed in front of me as I plummeted to the ground,

Anthony's POV

I just sat there, twiddling my thumbs. Out of nowhere Jessie flew towards me. I immediately grab her and decide that I have unfinished business with who pushed her. "Hey!" I say puffing out my chest.

A grungy man loomed over me, spoke up in retortion. "What do you want curly?" He asked. He just made fun of my hair! How dare he?

"Did you push this cinnamon roll?"

"Yeah, what of it? Plus, why would you call a puny girl a piece of food?"

"Forget it. It's metaphor, you wouldn't know it anyway. You know what isn't a metaphor? The fact that I'm going to kill you!" I snap and attack the guy with full force. Jessie had to pull me off of the guy and said 'sorry' to him.

Soon enough we get off of the subway and go to get pizza.

Jessie's POV

I still cant believe Anthony got into a fight. I see why he and Lin are best friends.

"So Kid, what do you want?" Ant asks me.

"Hawaiian, duh you idiot." I laugh.

"One large Hawaiiam pizza." He tells the server.

"Anything else?" The server says with a fake smile.

"That's it." Ant says handing over the amount of money.

"It will be ready in a few minutes." The severs says.

"Let's go sit." I suggest and he nods.

Le time skip

"Let's go to the theatre." Ant says after we go outside of the pizza place.

"Can we walk?" I ask and he nods.

We didn't really talk on the way to the theatre. Not even about what happened the day before.

We walk into the theatre where Ant is ambushed with a hug from Jazzy and I'm ambushed by Lin.

"Jessie did you have fun?" Lin asks.

"Yeah! I brought you a slice." I say handing him a pizza slice.

"Thanks Jessie." Lin says walking away with a mouth full of pizza.

"Ant!" I call him.

"Yeah?" He asks with his goofy smile.

"Thanks for today." I say with a smile.

"No problem, Kid." He smiles back and gives me a hug.

And that was my day with Mr. Ray of Sunshine.
