Jessie's POV

"Guys I get to go to the movies!" I exclaimed and everyone smiles. "Also to all get to come to the show next Saturday AND meet the cast!"

"Really?! That's amazing. I remember going to Hamilton but it was Javier and not Lin." Amber explains and I nod.

"Javier and Lin are both good. I haven't seen Javier actually perform but I've seen him practice." I told them.

Le Time Skip to after the lunch.

"Hey Jessie let's get to creative writing.
Then we have music and then you have theatre and I have art." Tobias explains and we head off to creative writing.

"Hello class. We have a new student joining us, Jessie Miranda." Mrs. Shuler (pronounced shoe-ler) announced. "Take a seat."

I go and sit next to Tobias and he smiles at me. "Don't worry, this class is easy." He tells me.

"Today class, you will be working in partners. You have two weeks to write a short story. It can be about anything. They will be submitted into a contest and whoever wins gets tickets to Hamilton. Each grade gets 4 tickets. Pick your partner." She tells us and I immediately turn to Tobias.

"Partners?" I ask him and he nods. I whisper to him. "You know we don't really have to win. My dad is you-know who."

"Yeah I know. Let's get this started. What should we do?" He asked me grabbing a piece of paper.

"I have no clue. She said it could be about anything." I say.

A smirk spreads across Tobias's face. "Maybe we should do one about Hamilton. Then we could get a better chance." He whispers to me.

"Yes! Now where do we start?" I say.
