Vanessa's POV

I know Jessie had a nightmare of Lin, but I didn't know it was this bad.

"Mija, do you want to talk about it? I won't tell Lin." I ask.

"Urm, sure." She says and explains what happened.

"Oh Mija." I say enveloping her in a hug.

"I'm sorry mom." She says in tears.

"It's okay Mija." I console her by rubbing her back. "And I think it'll be amazing if you get an emotional support dog."

"But I thought you were a cat person?" She asks me.

"Yeah but that was before Tobillo." I laugh. "How about you go to bed and I'll just work on my laptop?" I suggest and she nods, turning on her side and falling asleep.
