She puts her cart in the cargo area and walks into the train.
She finds a seat with a boy with a toad.
"Hello. I'm Hermione Granger. Do you mind if I sit with you?"
Looking a little pink, he replies very flustered.
"I-I'm Longille. I- I mean Neville. Neville Longbottom. G- go ahead. Sit. Are you a first year too?"
Before she could answer, the toad hops away.
"I'll go left if you go right. Let's go."
"Ok Hermione. Thank you."
She starts left and bumps straight into a boy with red hair and an odd shaped nose.
"Oh. I'm sorry. I'm Hermione Granger. Are you ok?"
"Yes. I'm fine. I'm Percy. Percy Weasley. You really shouldn't be running in the corridors. Look for a box and sit down. I don't want you to get hurt."
She nods her head and starts walking. She sees another boy with red hair talking with a boy with round glasses.
"Have you two seen a boy named Neville's toad? Oh. Were you about to do a spell. Well go on."
"Eh-hm. Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow. Turn this stupid, fat rat yellow."
The rat on the seat flies back a little.
"Well it isn't a very good one, now is it. I'm Hermione Granger. And you are-"
"Ron. Ron Weasley."
"And I'm Harry Potter."
She's heard that name before. He's the boy who lived. The boy that defeated Vo- He-who-must-not-be-named. She couldn't believe it. And so she sat with them.
