"For Merlin's Sake, you two! Get a bloody room already!"
Hermione turned away from her boyfriend's eyes to glare at her best friend's.
"Shut up, Ronnikins! You're just jealous of me and Hermione."
"Fred, I'm sorry mate but I've got to agree. You two make me sick."
"You too, George? We can't possibly be that bad, can we?"
Before George, or anyone else, could reply, the door to their room on the train opened and everyone looked up to see a blond haired Slytherin.
"Um, Hermione? You wanted to see me?"
"No, Ginny did."
Everyone turned their heads to stare at Hermione as if she had three heads. Well, everyone but Ginny and Draco. They knew about the plan.
"Yeah. I asked Hermione to call you over because I had to go check in with Luna before I joined you guys. Can we go out into the corridor?"
"Sure Gin."
This time everyone's attention was on Draco. He had never called Ginny anything but Weaselette. Hermione was silently impressed with his performance. The two walked out into the hall and purposely did not close the door all the way.
"I've missed you, Ginny." Spoke Draco. Loud enough for everyone in the cabin to hear.
"I've missed you, too Draco. Are you nervous?"
"Well if this confession is like my outing with 'Mione, then yeah. I'm nervous."
Ron's eyes widened as he pieced together what Draco had said. He stood up quickly and left the room. He kept mumbling about having to use the loo so he could throw up. He purposely knocked into Draco on his way out.
"Come on, Draco. You don't have anything to be afraid of."
"Ok, Gin. Let's go in."
Draco and Ginny walk in hand in hand and everyone's eyes are on them.
"Hey guys. Um... well, you could probably tell what we are going to tell you."
"Gin and I are..."
He locked eyes with Hermione before finishing his sentence.
"dating."
George, Fred, and Harry are all surprised. Harry looks as if he might explode. Hermione tries to act as surprised as everyone else but can't help but smile.
"Congrats you two! I always thought that you had a thing for him, Gin."
Before either could reply, Ron storms back in, red faced and seething.
"Get out, Malfoy."
"No, Ron. You can't kick my boyfriend out."
"Calm down, Weasel. I'm not going to hurt her, or you. We could be family one day," Draco winks.
"Don't you dare say that. Get out of here, Ferret."
"Ronald, please calm down."
Ron turned to Hermione and began to lash out on her.
"Don't even get me started on you and Fred, Hermione. Why does my family have to have such bad taste in partners?"
"Ron, what's that supposed to mean?" Fred had stepped in front of Hermione to protect her.
"Yeah, Weaselbee, what are you saying about me and Hermione?"
Ron flared his nostrils and turned redder than his hair.
"Ron, maybe you should go for a little walk to calm yourself," said Harry.
"Come on, Ron. Let's go get some pumpkin juice."
George grabbed Ron's shoulder and walked him out of the room, careful to keep a hand on his pocketed wand at all times. After many, many, MANY minutes of silence, Harry spoke up.
"So you and Malfoy, huh?"
Ginny nodded and sat down between Draco and Harry.
