"Father said I could have the hippogriff's head. Maybe I'll donate it to the Gryffindor common room."
"Look who's here!" Said one of his minions.
Hermione, Ron and Harry walk off of the bridge to go comfort Hagrid. Buckbeak was sentenced to death.
"Ah! Come to see the show?"
She has had enough. She whips out her wand and hold it to his neck. He was cowering against a large boulder.
"You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!"
"Hermione, no! He's not worth it!" Hearing Ron's voice was comforting. They had been fighting all year. She felt calm knowing that he still cares about her. She relaxed her wand and hears Draco snicker behind her. Everything feels as if it were in slow motion. She turns her body and swings her fist towards his face. He falls back and he hits his head on the rock behind him. She hears the crunch of his nose and the thump of his head. Her hand throbs with the toughness of his face. She smiles and turns to Harry and Ron.
"That felt good." She could hear Draco and his pals run off.
"Not good. Brilliant!" Ron smiles and stares at her. She feels her face get hot.
"Come on, we have to get to Hagrid's." They turn and run to Hagrid's home.
"I'm so sorry Hagrid. We'll be here for you the whole time."
"No! This is no place for you kids! Go! Before they ge-"
There was a knock on the door.
"Get! Out the back! Quickly now. Oh, Ron! Here's your rat. You should keep a better watch over your pets."
"I believe you owe someone an apology, Ronald!"
"Of course! I'll tell Crookshanks sorry when I see him."
"I meant me!" Her voice cracked with anger. He was so...so...she couldn't put it into words. She was so angry with him.
Hagrid pushed them out through the back door and they hid behind some large pumpkins.
There was a crack. A stick broke. She looked behind herself. She thought that she had seen herself in the woods. But that's not possible.
