Chapter 14: Accidental Reveal

They grin and laugh. Sitting down at their seats, she takes a small serving of pumpkin pie and eats it in almost one bite. Draco sends her a note in the form of a paper crane. It lands next to her plate. She stuffs it into her pocket and stands up. She waits until she is alone in the hall to open it.
Granger, i'm glad you're ok. I'm happy to see you. I visited you every other day. Wait for me to tap on your dorm window tonight? I want to make up for lost time. Draco.
She smiled and scribbled a little answer, refolded it, and blew it towards Draco. She then waved goodbye to Ron and Harry and went up to her room.

Around two am, she heard the tapping on her window. She grinned and opened it up.
"You look beautiful tonight, Granger. Hop on."
And so she did. They rode up to their spot on the roof. They cuddle for a little bit and he kisses her. They talk and she's happy for a while. Then she hears another broom. Harry lands on the roof and looks at her. He doesn't say anything, he just looks. Then he speaks up.
"Malfoy? Hermione? You know, Ron hasn't stopped talking about you. But he's too much of a git to realize his feelings for you. I was hoping that you liked him to so that he could shut up about you already. But I guess you're not available. So I'll see you later. And don't worry. Your little secret is safe with me. Goodnight Hermione."
He flies off of the roof and back to his dorm. She feels her cheeks get red. Draco kisses her cheeks and holds her hand.
"I'll take you back to your dorm. Hey! Hey hey hey. Don't cry." He wipes a tear off her cheek that she didn't know she shed. She closes her eyes and nods her head. Draco climb onto his broom and pulls her onto it. They fly silently down to her dorm. At her window, Draco takes her hand to help her into her dorm. He kisses her cheek and flies away. She climbs into bed and promptly falls asleep.
