"Bye Draco! Fred and I are going to find the others."
"Ok 'Mione. Be safe." He eyed Fred warily.
"Oh Draco stop that! Fred's not gonna hurt me!"
Fred snorted and took Hermione's hand.
"See you later, Ferret."
Hermione whacked Fred's arm.
"Damn woman! What was that for?"
"Apologize to fe- Draco!"
Fred rolled his eyes and glanced at Draco. Draco met the glance and turned it into a glare. Hermione noticed so she took a whack at Draco's arm.
"What has gotten into you?"
"Nothing. I just don't trust this lot. Never have, never will. Even if you do. No offense, Weasley."
"None taken, Malfoy."
They nodded civilly for Hermione's sake. She realized that that was the best she was gonna get from the two, so she gave Draco a hug and retook Fred's hand.
"Bye Draco. Please write. I want to know what's up. Be safe this holiday."
The boys stared at her in confusion.
"Damn. 'What's up' is a muggle phrase for 'what's going on.' Sorry you two."
Fred placed a small kiss on Hermione's temple and walked away with her.
"Bye Draco!" She waved a small wave and skipped with Fred to Ron and Harry. From what Draco had heard, Ron hadn't been the most accepting of Fred and Hermione's relationship. But neither was Draco, so he couldn't judge. He looked around to make sure that nobody was in ear's length.
"Bye, Granger. I love you," he mumbled before leaving his spot to find Zabini, Crabbe, and Goyle on the train.
