She woke up with a panic and a cold sweat. Draco was next to her. When she tried to talk, she couldn't. Her mouth was dry, and so she reached out to touch his hand, but he faded away. He was gone. Just a vision. A dehydration induced vision. She was handed some water and drank up. She looked around and realized she was in the Hospital Wing. Colin and Justin were there. And Ginny was walking out of the room. And Mrs. Norris was sitting on a bed. Everyone was fine. She remembers what happened. She goes to look in her hand for the page on the basilisk, and grins when she doesn't see it. Ron and Harry must have found it. She drinks more water and speaks up, thinking about what she should say. Then her mouth vomits a word vomit. She instantly regrets how much she sounds like Ron in this moment.
"Have you any food? I'm starving."
She was about to cover her mouth when a lump of bread was stuffed into her hand. She took a piece and placed it into her mouth. She smiled and closed her eyes. She relaxes as the warmth of the bread fills and consumes her body.

After what seemed like hours of eating and drinking water and check-ups, Nurse Pomfrey let Hermione go down the the great hall for dessert. Though she wasn't in the mood for dessert, she was glad to be let out. She was itching to see her friends. And to see Draco. Draco! She had forgotten all about the mirror and the note. She reached into her pocket and took out the note. She takes the mirror off of the bedside table and takes it with her.
As she runs to the Great Hall, she runs smack into Hagrid's back. He walks into the Great Hall and smiles at her.
"Glad yer back Hermione."
She grins and lets him walk in first. She notices Harry and Ron lean back from their seats to look at her with their goofy grins. She runs in as they stand up. She hugs Harry and goes to hug Ron, but something stops her. He hold out his hand to shake her's. She accepts the gesture and smiles.
"Nice to see you Ronald."
"You too, Hermione."
