She walked out of the Hospital Wing from visiting Ron and ran into something.
As she began to stumble back, she was caught by the same thing she ran into. Before she could open her eyes to see what- or who- she ran into, she was pulled into his embrace. She knew exactly who- she knew it was a who now- it was and pulled closer into his arms. His scent filled her nose and consumed her thoughts. She tried to stop herself as he lifted her chin to kiss her pink lips. "I've missed you," he whispers after releasing her lips from his. She felt the knot in her stomach she didn't know she had loosen. Her shoulders relaxed and her eyelids felt heavy. He had somehow managed to calm her very being with three words. Three little words that sent chills down her spine and made her knees buckle.
She pushes her lips back onto his. They were soft. And they tasted like pumpkin juice. And they were warm. She felt her teeth being pried open by his tongue. She happily allowed its entrance. As it searched around her mouth, she felt him push her into a wall. She didn't mind. His warm hands against her waist numbed her, making her feel warm and fuzzy. She eased her fingers through his blond-almost white- hair. He slowly dropped his hands to her bottom, pushing her closer to him. She tightened her arms around his neck and nibbled at his lip. Then there was a noise. Someone had cleared their throat.
"I'm sorry to interrupt this," he paused. Too long. Hermione looked at her feet and adjusted her robes and Draco smirks at the Professor, "touching moment. But this level of PDA is not allowed. Especially at this time, and in the corridor. 15 points from Gryffindor. And 15 from Slytherin, my own house." Proffessor Snape turned and walked away, the wind blowing his cape-like- robe behind him.
"So," spoke Draco, pulling Hermione back towards him, "shall we continue?"
She gawked at him. "How could you even think to do that again? We both just broke the rules! We were caught doing it, too!" Draco smirked at her and replied in a soft whisper. "Breaking the rules makes this even more fun." She grabbed his hand and pecked a small kids on his lips and whispered, "Goodnight, Draco." She pulled her hand from his and walked away. He stood there and stared as she left him alone. He dragged his eyes over her body, noting the coffee hair that was in impossible curls. He noted her slender waist as it was perfectly noticeable through her robes. The same went for her perfectly sized and rounded butt. Then down her slender legs to her very tiny feet. She was simply... perfect. Then he touched his nose and felt it throb. It was sore, but he didn't care. He then ran a finger over his lips. They too were throbbing and sore from Granger's gentle nibbles. But it was a different kind of sore. This one he also didn't mind, but it was a happy memory. Rather than a painful one. He grinned as he made his way back to his common room.
Midnight. Tapping on her window. She opened it and was welcomed onto her beloved boyfriend's broomstick and flown to the top of the tower that they call "our place." She had her head on his shoulder and her hands in his.
"We're complicated, aren't we?"
"What makes you say that, Granger?"
"I asked us to be friends last week. But you didn't want to be just friends. Then Harry asked me to stay away from you. He was just protecting me, don't worry. And then last night happened. And now we're here. We're complicated."
"It sounds like we love each other. No matter what we try to do to stop it, we always end up together."
"How do you really feel about me, Draco?"
"I find that you drive me absolutely insane. You're always in my head. I watched you walking away last night, and I couldn't find a single flaw. You're perfect."
"So how do you feel?"
"I'm in love with you, Hermione Granger. I can't describe it any other way."
She smiled and kissed his cheek.
"It's your turn, Granger. How do you feel about me?"
"You're an arse. You're arrogant. You think you're better than everyone. You're-"
"Where are you going with this, Granger?"
"You're impossibly awful. But you still somehow find your way into my thoughts all the time. You've consumed me. And when I look at you I can't see all of those bad qualities. You're also perfect when I look at you. So I believe that i'm in love with you, Draco Malfoy."
He smiled and pecked her temple softly. She attempted to stifle a yawn but was found unsuccessful. She closed her eyes and listened to his heartbeat.
"I'll take you back, if you'd like."
"Not yet. I'm not ready to leave you again."
"Anything for you, Granger."
