Author's Note:
Fun fact: My car died on the side of the road. So, I am writing this while I wait for road side assistance.

Remember when Matty said 'he has a small house about two miles away' from his parents house? Yeah, well if a two story house with a ton of land is his idea of a small house, then I don't even know what he thinks qualifies as a large house.

"I'm glad you had this idea. I would have died from boredom, otherwise." Matty laughed.

"I was glad you wanted to hangout." I smiled in reply.

"I was thinking maybe we could watch a movie? I know how amateur that sounds, but-"

"A movie sounds great." I smiled at him before he started rambling about his idea. He tends to do that, I noticed.

"What kind of movie do you want to watch? I have Hulu and Netflix, plus I can buy something On Demand if you want me to." He smiled.

"Hmmm...anything?" I asked with a mischievous smile.

He smirked and gave me a knowing look. "Just go easy on me."

"No promises." I teased, and began searching through the endless list of horror movies. I settled on The Vile, and leaned back into the couch after pressing play.

-
"Fuck, this movie is awful." Matty groaned, leaning into my shoulder for comfort. Every single time a bad scene came on, Matty would turn his face into my shoulder and cover his ears. Really, this movie was full of gore. Way too much for Matty to handle. Then again, I really loved the way he was cuddling into me for comfort. It's adorable, really.

"Do you want me to turn it off?" I asked, not wanting to push him too far.

"No, I'll be fine. As long as you don't mind me using you as a human shield from this movie." He laughed in response.

"That's fine. Actually, I kind of like it. You know, you cuddling into me like this." I teased.

"Oh do you know?" He asked, pulling closer to me.

"The roles are usually reversed, but that's okay." I joked.

He rolled his eyes and left his head on my shoulder. His hand found mine, and he began lightly stroking my hand with his thumb. God, everything this guy did was adorable. He didn't even know how cute he was actually being.

Daniel: Is Matthew with you?

I glanced at my phone and quickly turned it away from Matty before he could read the words on the screen. The last thing I need would be for him to ask me why the hell I was texting his father.

I ignored his message, and focused on the boy on my shoulder.

Just think about Matty. Matty is the only one who matters right now. Just ignore everything else.

My thoughts were interrupted by my phone vibrating loudly on the leather couch.

Daniel: Haley is calling me. Is Matthew with you?

Haley? What the hell does that bitch even want? She couldn't possibly know I'm with Matty...could she? Unless she is watching his house 24/7, I think it's very unlikely that she knows I'm even here.

Ignore it. Just ignore everything. I turned my phone off, and continued to watch the movie. About ten minutes passed before Matty's phone began to ring. He groaned and got up from his spot on the couch and walked over to his phone.

"Hello? I'm kind of busy right now, can I call you back later?" He asked to the person on the other end. What if he's talking to Haley? "I'm with Candace right now, she came over to watch a movie. Yes, to watch a movie. I'll call you back later. Bye." He said before quickly hanging up.
