"I have missed you!" Megan exclaims, running over to me and hugging me tightly.

"I have missed you too. I've missed all of you!" I say, hugging her back. "I'm really sorry, Megan." I sigh into the hug.

"Hey, it's okay. I mean...it was fucked up. Don't get me wrong, it was fucked up. Really fucked up. But it isn't your fault. I mean, it is...but I know you had no other option. We all know that. It's okay. I forgive you. Just don't hurt him again, please." She says, continuing her hug.

"I won't. I promise." I assure her.

We pull away and walk up the steps to her house. I feel like i've made this walk so many times. I was scared I would never walk these steps again. I am thankful that Phoebe has dance practice and preschool now. I love having her in the house, but I need some time to myself as well. Those are good escapes for the both of us.

The grass in their front yard is dead, but that's a given with the winter. A large 'For Sale' sign is stuck in the ground over by the curb.

"Any luck with the house?" I ask.

She rolls her eyes, "God, no. It's like no one wants to buy right now. And we've gotten some low offers. Kyler said he was goin to get around to fixing up and replacing some stuff, but he doesn't want to put too much into it and then turn around and move. He said if he does all that, he might as well just keep it." She laughs.

"Does Kyler even know how to make home improvements?" I ask with a giggle.

"God, he likes to think he does." She laughs loudly. We both laugh and walk into the house. There are moving boxes everywhere. Scattered around only half made, or some that already had been packed and labeled.

"How is the packing goin?"

"Terrible! Why does Kyler have so much shit?" She exclaims.

"Is most of it Kyler's?"

"Yes! He literally has so much shit! I can finish all of my packing in ten boxes at the most! He needs like fifty. It's because of all of his ties, I swear." She laughs.

"I'm going to miss you when you move." I sigh.

"I won't be too far. I'm going to miss this house. But Kyler is right about moving. We need something bigger." She sighs.

"Are you excited?"

"I'm excited to get it over with. This move, this pregnancy. Everything. This pregnancy is already kicking my ass. Which means i'm kicking Kyler's ass. So we are both ready for this to be over."

"You look great, though." I tell her honestly.

"I don't feel great." She groans.

"I know, but do we ever feel great?"

"That is so true." She smiles.

"Are you guys ready to get to Seattle? You know what I was thinking...if you have the baby in Seattle, then they will automatically be a citizen. You won't have to worry about them getting their citizenship. That's so cool. The timing truly couldn't be better." I say.

"Yeah, maybe I can borrow Matty's place and have the baby there so I don't have to worry about it later." She laughs.

"What?" I ask with a laugh.

"I said maybe I can borrow Matty's apartment so I can have the baby in Seattle." She repeats.

I don't say anything as I process what she just said. Matty's apartment in Seattle? He never told me about that. I had no idea he had a place there.
