Alfred had been staring out the window for a few hours now. He had been thinking of the childhood that made him who he is today. He recalled every detail he was given from that childhood. How even the thought of talking to other students frightened him when he was only 10. They were now settled into the house he had rented for the month.

Arthur snuck up behind Alfred and wrapped his arms around hi neck. "Everything alright?" He asked him softly. Alfred nodded gently. "Yea. Why wouldn't it be?" He asked. Arthur shrugged a little bit. "I don't know."

Arthur nuzzled into the back of his neck. "Are we going out today or are we staying here for another day before we go sight seeing?" Arthur asked. He really wanted to go see everything. But he wanted Alfred to be with him, so he was waiting on him. Alfred smiled softly. "We are heading out today, are you changed?" Arthur shook his head. "I just got up. Of coarse I'm not dressed yet."

Alfred chuckled and looked at his Arthur. He didn't know why, but Arthur adored sleeping in women's night shorts and Alfred just adored Arthur because he got to see more skin at night. So he didn't complain. Arthur was wearing a over sized t-shirt (probably one of Alfred's) and a pair of the shorts that was covered by the shirt. "Go get dressed and I'll get breakfast finished." He said. Arthur smiled and nodded before he went off to get dressed.

Alfred smiled and went to the kitchen and started on breakfast, which didn't take him very long. They sat down and enjoyed breakfast before heading into town. Alfred followed Arthur, smiling gently as he listen to Arthur talk about everything he remembered and seeing how happy and excited the other was. It was adorable.

They went to all the sights that were to be seen. Arthur took a lot of pictures and videos. While Arthur took the pictures, Alfred thought of a creative way to surprise Arthur. He hummed softly to his self and smiled. Arthur smiled brightly while he was filming a video. "Alfred! What did you think about all the things we've seen today?" Arthur asked excitedly. Alfred chuckled softly. "Very interesting." He said.

"Well, we are going to see one more thing before we head back to the house. The ferris wheel!" Alfred smiled. "Alright. But after that, can we go somewhere and get something to eat? I'm starving!!"

"You're always starving Alfred." Arthur said and chuckled softly. Alfred just gave a little pout. Before he smirked and suddenly picked up Arthur, scaring Arthur a bit. Alfred smiled and carried Arthur a little bit with much disagreement from Arthur but then just gave up. Alfred smiled brightly as they headed to the fairies wheel.

Alfred smiled brightly as they got to the line that lead to the over sized wheel that they both wanted to be on before the day was over with and maybe even return to the enjoyment of the ride before they leave the country. Alfred smiled happily, he was going to give such a surprise to his beloved Arthur. The line seemed longer then it actually was, but it would be well worth the time they spent in the line.

They finally got into one of the many many many carts that carried the riders to the top to let them see the beauty of the country that was not cloudy on the day that the couple had decided to ride the wheel on. Arthur was happily smiling and sat in the seat with Alfred following him and seating with Arthur. It took awhile for the seats to be filled in, Alfred even making a comment about the long wait to just see the semi-country side, even just the lake!!! But, once they were at the top, the wheel stopped for a few moments.

Alfred and Arthur smiled, Arthur taking some pictures of the top. It was really nice and romantic. Arthur was enjoying everything he could about his country.Arthur even started another video. Alfred sighed softly, which caught Arthur's attention. "Something wrong?" Arthur asked, a little worried that the other wasn't having fun at all. Alfred shook his head softly. "I've just been thinking a lot actually," Alfred said as he looked over the lake that was right next to the ferris wheel. "We've been dating for awhile now, and now we are free from the high school, but not from the world it self, and we've been through a lot. Like, more than what my parents had with you loosing your job and the fire and you being in a comma and your brothers coming back to you and Peter and with me getting a job and saving you from the beam from unholy hell that wanted to take you away from me, and just everything we've been through together and, I've been thinking, I don't want to be with you like this anymore,"

Arthur frowned deeply and he had started to cry as Alfred said he didn't want to be with him like this anymore. Arthur looked away, covering his mouth as to muffle a sob. "I-I-I s-see." He said. Alfred grabbed his hand tightly in his own. "Arthur, I love you deeply and I don't to live another moment without me being able to call you my fiance and hopefully soon, my husband. Arthur, will you marry me?" He asked as he got onto one knee with the other hand holding a small velvet box that he opened to reveal a silver wedding band. Arthur started to cry even more, but not of sadness because the other lead him to believe that this was a break up trip. Arthur couldn't talk, he was so over whelmed with joy and happiness and he couldn't give a straight answer.

Alfred looked up at him with bright blue eyes, his hair moving gently in the slight breeze that now made part of his hair cover his right eye. Arthur was still recording and could only nod. Alfred smiled brightly before he got up and he hugged him tightly, Arthur hugging him back. "I love you so much." Alfred said to Arthur who was now crying into his chest as Alfred slipped the engagement onto Arthur's left ring finger. "I-I love you to." He said back softly before he pulled Alfred down and into a kiss that last while as they started to move back down to the ground level, but ended before they could be in eye view of the on-coming riders. By then, the video had ended as well and Arthur was adoring the ring that was on his finger now.

They went and headed over to a restaurant that was near by that both of them could enjoy. Entering the shop and was met with a loud "Arthur Kirkland?!?!?!" that came from a waitress. Arthur looked at the girl for a moment before he recognized the girl, a girl he had been best friends with when they were in elementary school. Arthur and the girl hugged, leaving out a confused Alfred next to them both. "Oh, Alfred, this is Mae, an old friend of nine from when I was in elementary school." Alfred smiled at the girl, who smiled back and, Mae being a big hugger, hugged Alfred who gave her a hug back.

"Here, I'll get you both seated right away." She said and she hurried them both to a booth. "I get a break in a minute, I'll be right over." She said, before she got their orders of drinks and hurried away to get them their drinks and then take her break so her and Arthur could talk about anything and everything. And that is how they got their meals half off, to celebrate the newly engage couple. Mae happily got the owner to give them half off their meal, the owner being a sucker for newly engaged couples. They all enjoyed their meals and they talked a lot, staying for about four hours before Arthur and Alfred left to head back to the rented house. Alfred was really happy.
