///Alfred///

I was so excited to go out with Arthur and his family. I like Peter best out of them all. No offence but Oliver seemed creepy and the twins scare me, Then Arawn you hardly hear from or even see. I went home, changed into clean clothes, grabbed my wallet, made a big lunch and went back over to Arthur's.

First of all we had to see who all wanted to go. Peter, Oliver and Arawn wanted to go. Allistor was convinced along with Carter, They seem to do everything together. I decided to go to a old park I love and have a picnic. Something old fashion. I brought over the basket full of food and the blanket.

I would never tell anyone but I like old things. Old fashion things. It just seems cool and simply, unlike todays world. I drove the mini van my mom has, with her permission. We piled in and drove to the park that was named 'Boston Park' there was a small play ground that no one played on and a wide area of bright green grass.

I lead the way to a nice area by a tree for shade. "Hey Alfred, How did you find this place?" Arthur asked. I smiled at the memory.

"Well one day I was just wondering around, This was like 9 years ago, But I followed a bird who seemed happy, so I thought 'if that bird is happy maybe I can find out why and I could be happy too'. I followed it all the way here I saw the play ground and I knew I was going to be happy here. I've been coming here ever since when ever I felt sad or depressed, When ever I felt the world was against me." A long answer but a true one.

"Why would you feel sad when your so young?" Arawn asked out of pure curiosity. My smile faded as I thought. It broken my heart just thinking about it. I took a deep breathe. "Well when I was 9 my dad decided he couldn't face the world any more, he hung his self, leaving my real mom to deal with me. He left us broken with no house or food. My mom struggled to make ends even touch. She over dosed 4 months later."

Their head hanged in shame. I knew the look all to well. "I was sent to live with my foster family and they accepted me but I felt alone and that's when I found this place. It makes me happy."

Arthur came over and hugged me. I placed the blanket down and sat the basket in the middle. "Enough sadness, Let's just focus on the happy!" I was happy now.

We ate and talked, we even had a blast playing with Peter. He had everyone play hide n' seek. Seeing Allistor struggle finding a hiding spot made me laugh. Just imagine a grown man trying to hide under a slide, or up a tree but struggle to get up.

I knew the place so I didn't get caught. I let my self get caught when Peter was the finder. Arthur played a little too. It seemed they missed spending time like this together. It was a pretty day too, so I showed them the flower bed. It was filled with all types of flowers. Lilies, red, white, and pink roses, white, yellow, blue, purple, and mixed color flowers filled the area.

I even tried to have the white roses change their color by having them soak up colored water. So there was also blue, black, and purple roses. But one rose caught Arthurs' eyes.

It was a rose that I had tried to have tie dye colors. "What's with this one?" He asked staring at the rose. "Oh that's one I messed up with. I tried to have it with multiple colors."

It really was a mess up that it turned the way it was. Blue and red mixed into purple, yellow mixed with the red to form orange then the orange went to the purple with white dots here and there. "I think it's beautiful Alfred." He touched the rose gently. And soon the others spotted us looking at the rose and came over to look at it too.

"WOW! Alfred did you make this one?" Peter asked."In away I did, All I did was have it soak up different colors when it was almost pure white."

"It's a beautiful rose, so not like the others." Allistor stated. Everyone had their own comment of the rose that I screwed up on. I don't even know exactly what I was thinking I would get when I did it. But it was so different.

I never cut it off from the others because I never could. I saw how happy it made Arthur. I got a flower pot and a hand shovel. "What are you doing, Al?" Arthur looked concerned but I didn't reply. I digged the shovel into the ground around the rose. I heard a gasp like I was killing it.

I got the rose out of the ground, with all the roots, and I placed it in the pot. I filled the pot with the soil that was around it, standing up I put it in Arthur's hands. He looked at me not sure what to do. "If you like it, you should have it." I gave him a smile. He looked down at the rose that was now his.

He gave back a smile. "Thank you Al, it really is beautiful." The others nodded. Peter watched the rose while everyone helped me pack up. I really did like seeing them smile after being sad for so long. Sure I didn't have a real Dad or mom but I have people who love me. And Arthur as well.

After we got everything in the van, I drove them back to their house. They thanked me and I told Arthur I would see him on Monday. "Aw you won't be coming over tomorrow?" Oliver asked. I had work that day. "Nope I got work to do tomorrow plus help my mom." I replied with a smile. "OK see ya Alfred." Arthur waved goodbye and I drove off to my house.

Ooh what a pretty rose. Why couldn't he cut it if it was a mess up? Does it represent something more then just a rose? How will Monday be for the new couple? till then my lovelies
