My Neko Brother

Prologue (I think)

This is a one shot I'm just placing it here so those who don't read Oh Brother won't have to back and forth. Love you. Hope you enjoy. Sorry for any mistakes!

Hi I'm Laurent and I'm different. I'm a special different. When I was little I found out I had an extra set of ears. I ran to mami crying because I thought I was a freak. Mami explained that once every few generations there is a special little boy born a neko. I was still crying, especially when I asked if Larry would be too but she said no. Since then I've hid it from him. Today's my 27th birthday and I'm scared. My ears and tail are getting harder and harder to hide. Larry always wants to do something on our birthday but mami said at some point I won't be able to hide them anymore and here lately I've been struggling.

"Laurent! Brother you ready?" He says coming into my room just after I cover my ears.

"I-I don't feel like going out this time Larry."

"What? We always go out. Why not?"

"I-I have to call mami." I say running out of the room, going out. Immediately calling mami.

"Bonjour my son. What's wrong?" She heard me crying as soon as she answered.

"Mami I can't hide them no more. W-what if Larry sees? What if he thinks I'm weird?"

"Baby he's your twin. You guys are close I'm sure he'll be fine. Ok?"

"B-but what if he doesn't like me?" I say still bawling like a baby.

"Larry means everything to me I-I just don't want him to hate me."

"Baby you'll never know if you don't tell him. So take a deep breath. If you want I'll call Larry and tell him you wanna talk is that ok?"

"Please."

"Ok call me when you talk with him ok?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Good boy. I love you."

"Love you mami." Getting off the phone I take a breather before heading back towards the house, not realizing I had walked three blocks. Walking inside I hear Larry on the phone or well hanging up the phone.

"Oh hey Lau. Mami just called she says you have to tell me something?" My heartbeat picked up and I felt my tail twitch. Gosh this is hard. I nodded and we walked into my room.

"Larry I want you to promise you won't hate me." I say looking down.

"Lau I promise. I won't hate you for anything you do. Ok? Now what's wrong?" Starting to tear up I moved my hair allowing my ears to pop up. I look up to see Larry looking at me in disbelief.

"This is a joke right?" Tears streaming down my face I shook my head.

"No Larry its not." I felt a hand on my ear causing my ear to twitch.

"Oh my. It moved!"

"It is my ear Larry!" I say bitterly. My tears wouldn't cease and I felt stupid.

"I-I have a tail too." Larry gasped.

"Really?"

"Mmhmm. W-wanna see?" He quickly nodded his head. I got up and turned around, undoing my pants allowing my tail to free. I hid my face in my hands when I felt Larry play with my tail.

"How long?"

"What?" I say looking back my tail wrapped around his arm.

"How long have you had them?"

"Since I was six." He stood up pulling me into a hug.

"You are the cutest thing I've ever seen." He whispered in my ear.

"Really?" I say crying again.

"Yes baby." I pulled back shocked.

"Y-you called me baby?"

"Yes I did." He leans in kissing me softly as if I'll break. My arms fold around his neck as I kiss him back.

"S-so you like me?" I say pulling back for air.

"Bunches kitten." He says playing with my ears. I blush hard feeling the heat radiate through my whole face.

"Kitten?"

"Its your nickname from now on."

"I like it."

"Good." With another kiss he pulls me into the bed making me straddle him. I curl up into his chest my tail flicking.

"You know you didn't have to hide it from me right?".

"I thought you'd hate me." I purr as he pets my head.

"Never kitten. You're beautiful and wonderful. There's nothing that could make me hate you."

"Oki."

"You seem exhausted kitten."

"I am."

"Then sleep." I nod curling more into him quickly falling asleep satisfied I can be myself and be with Larry.

"Happy birthday kitten." He says kissing my head.

"Happy birthday Larry." I drifted off to sleep.

Like I said here's the one shot. Also even though in real life they are 6'4, in this story Lau will be about 6'0 and Larry will be 6'5. Now read the rest of the book😊
