Larry's POV:

I woke up to the sound of our phone ringing and kitten whimpering. I picked up the phone and holding kitten tight to stop his pitiful noises. He's definitely not a morning person.

"Hello." I say in a groggy voice.

"Is this Larry Bourgeois?"

"Yes. May I help you?"

"Your complaint has gone through and all we need is a statement from the victim. Is he around?"

"Um...yea he's here."

"May we speak with him?"

"Could you possibly just tell me what to say he gets a little nervous about this stuff."

"Sure that's no problem." I pulled the phone away from my ear.

"Kitten...hey baby wake up." I say giving him gentle kisses.

"What?" He asks in a very sleepy voice.

"Baby the police are on the phone they want a statement."

"N-no." He started to tear up.

"No no shhh." I hugged him close.

"If you want we could go down and I'll be with you." He nods quickly. I go back to the phone.

"Do you mind if we come down later today?"

"That would be fine. Just make sure you tell why you're there."

"Yes ma'am. Thank you." I hung up and held a shaking kitten.

"I don't wanna go Larry." He says looking up at me with big sad eyes. Why does he have to be so cute?

"Its not gonna be that bad kitten." I sit up putting him in my lap. He pouts and plays with my fingers.

"Kitten I'll be there with you. You'll be ok." I say making him look at me.

"Larry I'm scared."

"I know honey." I say as I kissed him slowly.

"Come on let's get you dressed."

"Nnnnngh." He whines and I popped his butt.

"I'm sorry." He whispers laying on my shoulder.

"You're ok baby. Just please cooperate. I know this is hard for you but trust me when I say everything's gonna be alright." I rubbed where I popped him and kissed his forehead.

"Try for me kitten?"

"I'll try."

"Thank you baby." I kiss him softly rubbing his sides.

"Now time to get dressed." He nodded.
