FINN POV
As I spun around on Will's chair in his room, I sighed loudly, and Will rolled his eyes.
"Don't tell me you're thinking about her again, are you?" He asked, not looking away from his computer screen. I shook my head.
"No, I was hungry, but thanks for putting her into my mind again." I muttered sarcastically. Her. Lia. It had only been a few days since we came back from Italy, and she had run off before I even got to say goodbye to her.
"Sorry." Will smirked at me, and pulled out his phone. "I'll order in some pizza."
An hour later, I sighed to myself, stuffed from food and pulled out my phone. "I gotta get going."
"Alright, see you tomorrow then." Will didn't move as I got my things and left the house, saying goodbye to the rest of the household on the way past the kitchen.
As I entered my house, I said hello to my mother, who was on her laptop in the kitchen, with two mugs next to her.
"Mom, two coffees? Good luck getting to sleep."
"Only one is mine."
"But Dad's out for business?" I raised an eyebrow, and my mind wandered to which friend visited her briefly.
"You have a guest, she's with Jack right now."
Automatically my mind went straight to my ex girlfriend. I still haven't spoken to her since Italy and she was bound to cause havoc now I was back home.
"Who is it?"
"Am I expected to have all the answers?" Mom smiled, and I smirked at her, shaking my head. I climbed up the stairs and headed to my room to drop off my bag, before heading to Jack's room where I heard quiet whispering, muted slightly from the noise of Jack's TV.
I opened the door to his room, walking in quickly to get introductions over and done with.
This girl needed no introduction. She's hardly left my thoughts for the past few weeks.
She was with Jack, curled up in his arms. If that didn't look wrong, I didn't know what did.
"Wha...what's going on?"
Lia climbed off Jack's bed. "We need to talk."
"What now? Keen to rub it in that you have no interest in me? I think I've already heard it, thanks." I spat menacingly at her, and she shook her head.
"You hate me, right? If you don't to ever see me again, just say the word. I won't ever come back here- sorry Jack..." Lia mumbled quickly, and looked away. "I'll avoid you to the best of my abilities."
"Fine. So be it." I crossed my arms stubbornly, glaring at her as she grabbed her bag, brushing past me quickly as she left the room, and Jack glared at me angrily, jumping out of his bed.
"What the fuck, Finn? You know you don't see a good thing coming at you, even if it slapped you in the face. She's my friend too, and now you've fucked everything up for me." Jack ran past me, slamming his shoulder into mine aggressively, running after Lia, and I sniffed, looking at the mess of quilts on his bed. I turned on my foot, storming out of my brother's room and slamming my own bedroom door shut.
I hate her.
I hate everything she's made me feel, everything she's made me do, even without asking.
I hate how I fell so quickly for her, as soon as I met her. How when Dan broke up with her I actually thought I had a chance, but it's like Dan has some sort of hold on her, which not even I can break.
She'll never see me the way I see her.
