Chapter 30:

DAN POV

I tapped impatiently on my desk as I stared at my computer screen. Hundreds of emails filled my inboxes from fans in relatation to my tweet asking for their questions. I regretted it instantly, realising that I didn't have time to go through all the emails, film a witty enough video then sort out the radio show with Phil. 

My fans had as many issues as I had, apparently, as I clicked on one particular email.

How can I stop procrastinating? My exams are soon and I've not done my homework for the past year.

Story of my life.

A knock on the door caused me to jump, and I looked behind me to see Lia stick her head out of the door.

"I'm going out with Jess, did you need anything?"

"No babe, just some sanity or my dignity, if you know where they are by any chance?"

Lia giggled, coming over and sitting down on my lap. "I don't think you had any to start with...are you feeling okay? You've been a little tense the past few days."

"Work." I sighed, peeking around her to look at my computer. "I had a huge inbox and I'm very late on a new video and Phil has been freaking out over the radio...how can he post new videos every week yet I can barely get out of bed every day?"

"Well Jess has been waking up earlier, making him wake up with her..."

"So does this mean I can blame you too? You're just as lazy as me so we both don't help each other."

Lia smiled at me whilst shaking her head. "Don't be silly, Dan. I'll be back in a few hours. Don't burn the flat down. Don't forget about our date night tonight. I'm cooking tonight."

Flat...that too. With the new engagement, I wanted a new place to start new memories. I was looking for places with less space, as now Phil had moved out we had more space than we needed, considering we lived in a flat. If we got a house, we could get our own furniture and we could paint the walls and do as we please. Plus if we wanted in the future, we could adopt or...have a surrogate pregnancy. I hadn't talked it through with Lia but it was something to look forward to.

"Bye, babe." I mumbled as Lia left the room, leaving me stressing over my work.

An hour after I finished filming my video, Phil gave me a call, urging me to get to his house to sort out the radio show.

It wasn't until the end of the evening did I realise it was getting late.

"Dan, it's like midnight. You should really get back."

"Where is Jess?"

Phil shrugged. "She mentioned something about helping Lia cook a meal and shopping, so she's fine. I told her I was going to be working late, so I think she's glad to get out of the house for a bit. Have some girl time with her sister."

I nodded with a smirk. "When the baby comes, we'll babysit so you two can have some date nights...fuck I knew I was forgetting something. Date night with Lia." I jumped up, heading straight back home, to find that it was quiet. Two empty plates were next to a pile of pots on the kitchen surface, and I peeked my head around the corner to see that Lia and Jess fast asleep on the sofa. Lia stirred once I placed a kiss on her forehead, and her eyes fluttered open.

"Where were you?" she mumbled sleepily, trying not to wake her sister up.

"Sorry, I was working with Phil. It completely slipped my mind."

Lia nodded, before nudging her sister awake. "Jess. Go to the spare bedroom it'll be more comfortable."

Jess nodded, before throwing me an annoyed look. "We spent most of today cooking a meal that we ate instead of you and Lia."

I pretended like I didn't hear her grumbling as she headed to her old bedroom. I followed Lia to our bedroom, apologising again for being so tardy.

"It's fine. Jess enjoyed it." Lia shut her eyes as she cuddled into her pillows. I'll have to make it up to her soon. Something told me that adding a new member to our family would solve everything.

I made a mental note to buy a fish bowl tomorrow. That's the only pet my landlord would allow, unfortunately.

Hey everyonee thanks for waiting for the new chapter I went to AMERICA which was awesome so I've been a bit preoccupied xD Literally was so busy we'd be going to all the amusement parks and rollercoasters and i loved it! 

SAW JIMMY FALLON AND PITBULL like seriously :D they were at Universal Studios the day I went there and I've never been crazy over Pitbull but I stuck around to watch him anyways and I love American day time / night time TV so the next thing I wanted was to see Ellen haha! Who likes rollercoasters here? I never liked them when I was younger but I went on loooads this time! My favs were Cheetah Hunt, Aerosmith, Manta, The Mummy Ride and this wooden ride which was at Busch Gardens which I forgot the name of but I was so terrified because I feared for my life hahaha
