Chapter 26: Jack and Finn.

LIA POV

Over the time I was on holiday with Dan, I didn't want to touch my phone, knowing that I would be so tempted to take a picture of my ring and send it out for the entire world to see. I knew my family and friends had to know outside of the social media, so I couldn't wait until I was back in England. The only person I knew I couldn't tell just so happened to be one of my best friends.

I wonder how Finn was.

Whether he was in recovery or not, I knew I couldn't ask and I definitely didn't have the right to know, so Dan had definitely found ways to distract me when my thoughts flicked back to the twins. The engagement had been on my mind for the whole week, and I had no idea how to tell everyone. I wanted to at least tell Jack what was going on through my mind, so I had set up a lunch date the day after I got home. I wanted to tell him before anyone else besides my family because I wasn't sure how to handle the situation.

You can guess what Jess and Phil were like.

A screech from Jess while Phil just stood with his mouth open in shock as no sound came out. Jess ran up to hug me, which was surprisingly tight, considering she was being careful because of her growing stomach. She huffed at Dan with a pout on her mouth.

"You didn't tell me you were going to do it! I could have prepared a party!"

"You can still prepare a party, Jess." Dan chuckled. "We haven't told anyone else yet."

"We need to tell Liam, too. I know I haven't seen him much lately but all the same family get told before friends." I smiled at Jess, then gave an odd look to Phil. "You okay, Phil?"

Phil shut his mouth and nodded silently, before laughing. "Sorry! I'm just so excited I wasn't sure what to do! I don't know why- considering I knew Dan was going to propose!" He came forward to give me a squeeze, and gave Dan a cute but stern nod. 

"Dan, you are now a man."

"Does that mean I'm too man to hug my best friend?"

Phil's face softened as his facade faded away instantly, and grinning he and Dan hugged. 

"I think it's safe to say that you'll be my best man? It'll stir so much drama llama if I chose someone else after I was your best man."

Phil chuckled. "Of course! The suits return!"

Hey everyone! ^_^ Sorry if the chapter is short but I've been on work experience on the most amazing thing ever!

I've been working on a web series which will come out on YouTube Comedy Week called Staff Room! It features the most amazing cast and crew who have pretty much become my family haha! If any of you are from England and watch soaps...you might recognise a few faces ;)

So yeah I've literally been waking up at 5am, coming home at 6pm to then sleep until 5am the next day for ages now so that's why I've not been spending loads of time writing on here! But whilst traveling I've been reading a lot of new fanfictions and would anyone like a 5SOS or One Direction fan fic? :P I can always do another Dan and Phil Fic or Jacksgap fic but I think it would be a good idea to do something different? Let me know what you guys think, and if I do write another fanfic it would be after I finish this one! :)
