Authors note: To anybody waiting on the protectors I'm working on it I promise. This is a rushed chapter to fulfill a request from a one of my favorite people. This one is all for you Rebeca. HAPPY BIRTHDAY REBECA!!!

Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.7}

Dietrich's POV

She took my hand, and I transported us to the roof.

"Have you learned to fly yet princess" I asked?

"You are supposed to call me Lucy. And what do you mean fly" she said with an excited squeak to her voice.

"They really have kept you in the dark. That's just not right. Ok I'm going to have to hold you while I do the flying" I said.

Lucy's POV

Oh no your not. I don't even know you. And I am getting a little tired of strange guys thinking they can get all scary friendly with me just because they feel like it" I yelled at him.

"Prin... I mean Lucy. I mean you no disrespect. It's the only way I know to travel. And the only way I know off this roof. I promise when we get to our destination I will give you all the answers I can. I will not hurt or deceive you. In my opinion there has been to much of that" He said

I don't know what it was about this guy but I believe him. It was crazy, he just ripped somebody's head off. He was talking about flying. And why did he keep calling me princess. But with every fiber of my being, something told me I could trust him. That I would be safe with him. I had learned along time ago to follow my instincts. They never failed me. I shook my head ok. He walked up to me put his arms around me and these huge red wings came out of his back. Next thing I know we were flying higher and higher. I should have been scared. But it felt so free and natural like the water. Like I was supposed to be one with the sky. Then something strange happened I felt this tingle and minor pain in my back. The warrior guy who's name I still didn't know. Started to shift and now he wasn't holding me but my hands instead.

"What are you doing I will fall" I said a little panicked.

"it's a little hard to hold you with your wings out." He said with a sweet chuckle.

I turned my head to see beautiful white wings with specks of all different colors running thru them. He had let go of my hands and I hadn't realized until this moment I was flying. Oh my god I was flying. It freaked me out but at the same time it felt natural. How could this be.

"Its ok princess take my hand and we will go to a special place and I will explain" he said

I took his hand and we soared up above the clouds. We flew like one totally in sink. Every time I tried to flip or do a trick he did as well. I felt this odd connection with him. Like something that had been missing was finally returned. He pulled on my hand a little. Next thing I knew we were landing simultaneously. No pain know thud we just fluttered to the ground.

"Wow that was amazing" I said totally in shock I just flew. And I can't even describe how wonderful it felt.

"Princess you are amazing! I have never seen anyone take to flying so effortlessly. It takes most people years to fly that well. Are you sure you have never flown before" He said with awe in his voice. This made me blush and I turned my head away. That's when I started to take in our surroundings. The colors were so amazing but different. The sky was made up of different shades of red, yellow and orange. The grass if that's what it was, was made of this blueish-white color. With different color flowers the likes of which I have never seen before. There was water near by and it was a unique shade of purple. Everything together made it one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
