Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.35}

A/N: I am having trouble with this story right now. I'm not thrilled with this chapter. But a friend of mine is having a rough time and she loves this story no matter what. So I'm going to post I hope you like it.

Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.35}

Uncle Benny's POV.

We were all standing there staring at Lucy and Dietrich, lying in beds next to each other. He was still holding her hand witch he grabbed before we knocked him out. If this didn't work Frederick was going to kill me. I would kill myself if anything happened to Lucy. She was like my own daughter. Then I saw it, They both twitched at the same time. Then their eyes opened. I shouldn't have been surprised he is her warrior. I knew how strong that bond is. Sometimes I think Cedrick was closer to my brother than me. For a moment we were frozen afraid to touch them. Lucy broke the spell.

"What's a girl got to do to get hug around here?" she asked.

Mother, Ellie and Patrick (Elli's warrior) hugged Lucy then Dietrich. Father hugged her then shook Dietrich's hand and told them both good job. Then it was my turn, I pulled Lucy into a hug and I never wanted to let go. I wanted to hold her there and keep her safe.

"Uuncle ccan't breath." Lucy stuttered.

"I'm sorry sweet girl. I'm just so happy your ok." I said and could feel my own tears. She reached up and wiped them from my face.

"Its ok uncle I'm fine." she said.

"Yes but we could have lost you forever." I said.

"Psht If I can't fight the demons with in myself how do I expect to win against the real life ones." she laughed.

I couldn't help myself I laughed with her. Then I turned to shake Dietrich's hand.

"You make your father and grandfather proud. You are one of the finest warriors to grace this world." I said.

"I agree!" Tony said from the doorway with tears in his own eyes. Its amazing how these great kids could make us grown men all teary eyed.

[Reminder: Tony is Dietrich's grandfather and Lucy's grandfather's warrior.]

"Lucy are you sure your ok can I get you anything." my mother asked her.

"I am kind of hungry and I so love the food here." Lucy said with a smile.

"Your always hungry, and you just love food." Dietrich laughed and so did everybody else except Lucy. She pouted and hit him in the arm. But then she laughed too.

"Ok you all go to the sitting room and I will bring the food." my mother said.

"Grandmother can I help?" Lucy asked.

" No sweetie you need to rest." mother said.

"I will help you mother." Ellie offered.

We were on our way to the sitting room, when I heard the door and said I would get it. I opened the door and to my surprise I saw all Lucy's friends.

"Is Lucy ok?" Arena and Rebeca asked at the same time.

"Where is she?" shark boy asked. I think his name is Arken. At the same time the rest of them started asking similar questions.

"Woe one at a time and calm down. Lucy is fine come in and see for yourselves." I told them and chuckled. Only our Lucy could bring all these species together.

Lucy's POV.

Elli, Patrick, Dietrich, Grandfather, grandmother, uncle Tony and I were eating and laughing when uncle Benny came in. Behind him were the rest of my friends. Dietrich jumped up, swept Rebeca off her feet and kissed her. I didn't think they would breath again. Until Maverick said

"Get a room." Then we all laughed. I ran to Arken and hugged him.

"Thank you! I thought you said you weren't good at this whole friendship thing." I laughed.

"I also said you were my only real friend so I had to make an exception for you." Arken said and smiled at me.

"What are you to talking about?" Ryan asked?

And Arken started telling them about his part in the fight with evil me. I looked down and noticed he was holding Arena's hand. He must have seen me looking because when I looked back up at him, he winked and smiled. I would get the whole story from Arena later but I was happy for them. We laughed and talked for what felt like ever. I started to feel a little dizzy and decided to go on the balcony for some fresh air. The sky here was like no other it was breathtakingly beautiful. I heard the balcony door open and close then turned to see Adonis.

"Are you really alright?" Adonis asked.

"I am really fine." I told him and smiled. Other than tired I really did feel ok.

"But I always feel good here, I love this place." I said

"Do you feel the same in the sea and the fairy realm?" he asked.

"Yes and no. I love it as much but for different reasons. I had fun in the fairy realm. But the sea and this place fill me up with so much Life and energy. Does that make sense." I said.

"Yes you are part mermaid and dragon you would feel at home in both those places. The fairy realm might be beautiful and fun but wont have the same pull. I would love to show you my home someday." he said.

"I would like that someday." I said. Then I felt a presence just passed a line of trees. I have felt it before. I always chalked it up to being paranoid. However after recent events I don't think paranoia is a bad thing. Although this is not a threatening one. I can sense his feelings. Don't ask me how I knew he was a he. I just did. I could also feel undying loyalty to his king and queen. There was worry too, for the queen and me.

"I know your there I can feel you. I am fine you can tell your king and queen I'm ok. If they would welcome me. I would love to visit your home." I said and I could feel the presence leave.

"What just happened?" Adonis asked looking confused.

"I think I made a new friend. Although I didn't recognize the species so it must be one I haven't met yet." I said.

"You are amazing! You knew all that just by being near someone." he said.

"Yes I can't read minds like my dad but I can sense some one and feel what is dearest to them. If I met the species before then I know which they are." I said.

"Truly amazing and beautiful." Adonis said as he pushed some hair out of my face. Lightly brushing my cheek as he did so. He leaned towards me and lightly brushed his lips against mine. Before he could make it a real kiss the door opened and Ellie peeked out.

"Lucy are you coming in or staying out here all night." she said. Then noticed Adonis standing so close to me and I knew I was probably blushing. I could feel the heat in my cheeks.

"Yes right now." I said as I took Ellie's arm and walked inside with her.
