Everybody Wants Lucy {CH. 36}

Floen's POV

I was so excited to give my King and Queen good news. But that wasn't the only reason for my excitement. I couldn't explain it, but when she spoke to me it was like she touched my soul. I was filled with more joy and peace then I have ever known. And we haven't even met face to face. She gets more and more amazing by the day. The guard opened the door, as he announced me I noticed their faces. The queen looked heartbreakingly sad and the king looked frustrated. I could feel my happiness dim but not go away.

"Floen please tell us you have news." King Nessus said.

"Yes your majesties I have news. Good news actually." I said and I could feel this insane smile on my face. Strange I thought I never smiled. In fact I didn't usually show any emotion at all.

"Dear Floen please don't keep us in suspense." Queen Hipp said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Well first I must apologize to you both for breaking the rules." I said.

"What did you do my son?" My queen asked in her gentlest voice which sounded almost musical.

"I followed the other supernatural children through a portal into the dragon realm." I said and bowed my head.

"Floen you know we have to have permission to enter the dragon realm." My king yelled at me.

"Oh who cares about politics. Tell us your good news Floen." the queen said.

"I was watching the castle when she stepped out on a balcony." I started and the queen cut me off.

"She as in Jasmine's daughter! Is she unharmed." my queen asked with a plea to her voice.

"Yes your majesty she was fine a little tired maybe but physically fine. And her name is Lucy." I said.

"Did you interact with her Floen?" My king asked with his eyebrows raised.

"No sir I remained hidden but she knew I was there some how. She told me to tell you both that she's ok and would like to meet you. For the life of me I don't even know how she knows about your majesties." I said.

"She's much more powerful than I thought." the king said in awe.

"What do you mean husband?" the queen asked the king.

"My dearest have you ever known Floen to smile so bright. Hell have you ever seen him openly display any emotion. Plus she could feel his devotion t(o us and our concern for her through him. Even a supreme being usually has to interact with someone to have this kind of affect. She is very powerful." the king explained.

"Should I extend an invitation and send the royal escort?" I asked although for some reason I wish I could go myself.

"No!" the king said.

"No what do you mean no?" the queen roared.

"All I meant my pet was Floen should go instead of the royal escort. She knows his presence already it might make her more comfortable." the king said.

"Why do I have a feeling your up to something husband?" the queen asked suspiciously.

"Why my sweet what ever do you mean?" the king said with a smirk. And I knew they could go on like this for hours. So I bowed and started to make my exit.

"You will still need to take the royal escort with you. Lucy needs to bring her friends her father and uncle too." the queen said. I nodded and left to make arrangements.

Lucy's POV

I was sitting in the garden watching Moe and friends tend to the flowers. The flowers here are so beautiful everything here is. I felt such peace. I wish I could stay here forever and forget about the dangers hanging over all of us. But I knew I couldn't for them I knew I couldn't. All the people I cared about most were in danger and their only crime is loving me. I felt him before I saw him. My beloved grandfather, I felt like I have known him my whole life. He's probably one of the few that really understands the pressure of leadership and how it feels. To know you hold the lives and deaths of others in your hands. If you make one wrong decision you with be responsible for the destruction of many.
