Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.14}

Lucy's POV

I was standing there blindfolded. I knew everything would be ok. But considering the last time I was blindfolded was when my stepmother was holding me. It was still a little unnerving. I had to focus so I took a deep breath. Centered myself and I could feel the two presences in the room. One was filled with love and pride towards me. The other was filled with mischief and was a little hostile. I focused my attention on the air. The smell and movement of it. I could feel the second person coming at me and ducked. Then I swung my right leg in the direction my instincts told me to. I made contact then heard a thud and moved towards it. I grabbed them by the collar and thru them in the wall. I listened to where they fell went over concentrated and surrounded them with a force field. Then there was a lot of clapping.

"Well done Lucy" my grandmother cheered. I took off the blindfold and saw Patrick trapped by my force field and he was injured but would be fine. I dropped the force field and ran to him.

"I'm sorry Patrick" I said as my hands started to glow then I placed them on Patrick's arm.

"Lucy remember what I showed you hold back a little. He will heal a little bit slower but it wont drain you as much" grandmother said. I did and Patrick was fine in minutes.

"How do you always know where I am" Patrick asked astonished.

"Instincts" I said and smiled. They both laughed then the door creaked open.

"Can I come in now" Dietrich asked?

"Yes, we are done" I said.

"I don't know why I can't help you train" Dietrich said.

"Because your so busy trying to protect me you don't give me a chance to train" I said.

"Well he doesn't have to come at you so hard" Dietrich said.

"What are you talking about? I have never had a chance to lay a hand on her. She's to quick and I never know what powers she's going to use until she uses it" Patrick said.

"That's my marvelous and amazing granddaughter" grandmother beamed.

"Your starving granddaughter" I said.

"You know for such a skinny girl you sure eat a lot" Patrick laughed.

"I didn't use to but lately I always seem to be hungry" I said and laughed too.

"Its your powers all coming in at once. When you get them one at a time you get spurts of hunger. Now lets go feed you children" grandmother said. We all started for the door, then it happened. The room started to dim until it went completely dark. When light came back I wasn't in the training room anymore. I was in the middle of an ocean. I could see a shore line in the distance with a lot of boats. I moved loser and noticed I was sort of floating above the water. As I got closer I could see huge nets hanging from the boats. There appeared to be fish in the nets then my heart almost stopped. As I saw Brady, Arena and some half human half shark creatures trapped in the nets. I tried to reach them but then it all disappeared and I was back in the training room with Dietrich holding me up.

"You had a vision didn't you" my grandmother asked?

"Yes I think I did. And I need to talk to grandfather right away" I said.
