Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.17}

Benny's POV

"Freddy I think we should go home and wait like Lucy said" I said.

"Benny since when you blindly follow anybody especially a kid" he said.

"Since that kid is our Lucy. She is ten times more powerful then us. Now she doesn't trust us and its our fault" I said

"Benny you no everything I did was to protect her" Frederick said.

"I know but the fact is she doesn't and we are going to have to earn her trust if we want to keep her safe now. I don't think this is a good start" I said.

"I know you told me already. Now will you just call him" he said.

I called him and the water started to shimmer and bubble. Then he rose with his guards. I knew instantly something was different he had his queen with him. She rarely left the castle, at least since Jazz died.

"Is it Lucy is she in trouble too" the king said. And I could tell he was really worried about something.

"Too what do you mean too? Who else is in trouble" I asked?

"Two of our children are missing" the queen said with tears in her eyes.

"Their safe now" I said and wiped the tear from her face. Looking at her was like looking at Jazz. I couldn't stand to see her cry. Out of the corner of my eye I could see both the king and Fred glare at me. The female gender of mermaid sure brought out the protective instinct in a guy.

"Are you sure how do you know" the queen asked?

"Lucy snuck out of the dragon realm to save them. She then sent word to our father that the rescue was a success. And that she would be visiting you for a day or two. Their probably waiting for you back home" I said she smiled.

"I want you to send her home A.S.A.P." Frederick said with hostility in his voice.

"And why would we do that" the queen said.

"Because she's MY daughter and she can't just run off when ever she feels like" Fred said.

"You convinced my daughter to leave her home and now she's dead" the queen said and the tears were in her eyes again.

"I am trying to prevent that from happening to Lucy too" my brother said.

"I trusted you with my sweet daughter I wont make the same mistake with Lucy" she said.

"Lucinda she's his daughter he has the right...." the king started but she cut him off.

"You would take his side you of all people. You who hates all angels for the stupid actions of a few." She said and now I could see where Jazz got her fire.

"If it pleases the queen, Lucy is getting her power all at once. And has done more than one rescue. After you have seen her if you can send word that she is ok. I would greatly appreciate it" I said. She smiled at me.

"Oh my you are a silver tongue devil aren't you. It would please me very much. I will send you word" she said.

"Thank you Queen" I said and smiled.

"You are so very welcome Benjamin. Now I am going to see my children all three of them" she said. She rose out of the water did a flip and a spin. Then dove into the water with more grace than I had ever seen. Then she was gone.

"What was that about I want Lucy home now" Frederick said.

"I don't know about you guys. But I am not about to piss her off anymore then she already is. Now Frederick lets go home and wait for Lucy" I said. We said goodbye to the king and then headed for home.

Dietrich's POV

"Lucy Brady's right you can't trust them. You need to stay away from them" Arena said.

"Right now I don't trust either of you. So I don't think I will be taking advice from you" miss Lucy said. I could here the anger laced with sadness in her voice.

"Awe Lucy we were only trying to protect you" Arena said.

"Yeah don't be mad, father said it was for the best" Brady said.

"Oh that's right protecting me everybody's code words for lying to me" miss Lucy said.

Lucy I love you so much. I wanted to tell you but it wasn't my place" Arena said.

"Did your parents say you couldn't tell me" miss Lucy asked and I could tell she was looking for a reason.

"They didn't order us if that's what you mean. You know mermaids are all about free will" Brady said.

"But they advised against it" Arena said.

"Did you kiss me thinking we might be family" miss Lucy asked Brady.

He kissed her, I wasn't quite sure why that bothered me. But it did big time. Maybe because he was lying to her the whole time.

"Oh no no I always knew I wasn't related by blood" Brady said.

"And how would you have felt if they kept that from you. If you never knew who you were or where you came from" miss Lucy asked?

"We are sorry Lucy please forgive us" Arena said and Brady nodded.

"I'm not making any promises but I'll think about it. We better get you guys home" miss Lucy said.

Unknown POV

"Your majesties I beg your pardon but I need to report" I said.

"Well what is it" my king asked?

"She can transform into a dragon, mermaid and angel" I began.

"We know all that from your last report" my king said.

"Beg your pardon but I'm not finished your majesty" I said.

"Let the boy finish" my queen said.

"She can control the elements and command the eagles" I said.

The queen gasped.

"I knew it. I just knew she is a supreme being" the king exclaimed.

"How there hasn't been one in centuries" the queen asked.

"Well there is one now" the king said.

"Are you sure my love" the queen asked?

"Yes my darling I felt her power before she did" the king said.

"Do you think the dark dragon or the dark night know" asked the queen in fear?

"I think they might have felt her power. However I don't believe they know she's a supreme being" the king said.

"How could they not. If they felt all that power" said the queen.

"Well they probably think she's so powerful because she's a dragon and mermaid princess. Also part angel" the king said.

"What do we do. We can't let them enslave her. They will try you know they will" the queen said.

"We wont let it come to that. We will protect her" the king said.

"We weren't able to help her mother" the queen said.

"I know my lovely lady and I know she was your friend. But this is different we didn't know until to late. Also her mother was not a supreme being. She has defenses her mother didn't. Plus I bet everybody around her are fighting over who gets to protect her. Aren't they my son" he said as he turned to me.

"Yes sire they most definably are. Not that she needs them" I said.

"See my sweet it will be alright" the king said as he wiped a tear of the queens face. I thought they might need some privacy.

"What do you want me to do sire" I asked?

"Nothing just yet. Keep watching and keep reporting anything new. Oh and make sure no harm comes to her." my king said and I left.
