Lucy's POV

The next few classes weren't so bad. Rebeca and Arena sat on either side of me in the back row. And the guys surrounded us so I didn't have to deal with unwanted attention. My mood was improving it was nice to have all my friends new and old in the same place. For the first time school didn't seem so horrible. Had I only known what was coming next. The bell rang we got up to go to lunch I was starving. Then the teacher told me to stay behind to get make up work I had missed. I told the rest of them I would meet in the cafeteria. They protested but I insisted so reluctantly they left. I went to my locker to get my books for the second half of the day. And there was Brad standing next to my locker. Brad is the captain of the football and wrestling teams. Plus Britney's boyfriend and a world class jerk.

"What do you want Brad" I asked?

"You to go out with me" he said.

"Aren't you going out with Britney" I said.

"Britney who" he said.

"Oh that's really nice, you jerk" I said even Britney doesn't deserve this. Then again she was flirting with Adonis and Maverick so maybe their perfect for each other.

"I wouldn't go out with you if you were the last man on earth" I said.

I got my books and started to go. Next thing I know he has me pinned between him and the lockers. My books fell to the floor. Wow he was quick.

"Get the hell off me Brad" I screamed. Where the heck was there a teacher when you needed one.

"Not until you kiss me" he leered.

"If I wont date you what the hell makes you think I would kiss you, you idiot" I yelled. He was starting to piss me off. I had to do something before my self defense kicked in. I could use my powers but I knew I had to be careful with humans. If I didn't calm down my friends would pick up on my distress. And some of the guys would rip his head off. As I'm contemplating what to do I noticed he was talking and leaning in for a kiss.

"I think the lady protest to much" he said and leaned closer.

So I did what any girl would do and kneed him in his manhood. He grabbed his you know what and let out a girly scream. Then he recovered faster then I could even register what was happening. And had his forearm to my throat pinning me to the locker.

"You bi*ch" he spat.

Oh this was not good. How the hell was he so fast.

"Let her go Brad" someone said.

I looked just passed him and barely recognized to guys. I was getting dizzy because I couldn't breath. It was Noah and Marko they were also on both the football and wrestling teams. They were Brads friends too. However they weren't jerks like him. I had worked on different committees with them. They always made polite conversation. And would nod hello when we passed in the halls even if they were with the other popular kids.

"That's not how you treat a lady Brad" Noah said.

"She's no f*cking lady did you see what she did to me" he yelled.

"Yeah and from where we are standing you deserved it. NOW LET HER GO" Marko said and he yelled the last part.

I started to pass out and then all of a sudden I'm hitting the floor. Marko has Brad pinned to the lockers on the opposite wall. And Noah was holding my hand looking at me with a concerned look. What happened they had been at least six feet from us. I didn't even see them move.

"Walk it off Brad or I am telling uncle Jack" Marko yelled at Brad. I was gasping for air.

"Lucy are you ok" Noah asked. I saw Brad slink off then looked at the other two.

"My throat hurts" I croaked

"Here drink some of this" Marko said handing me a bottle of water.

"Thank you" I said taking the water.

"I'm so sorry about Brad he can be a real ass sometimes" Noah said.

"I don't get it I didn't even think he knew I was a live and now he wants me to kiss him" I said.

Wow Maverick wasn't kidding they really are drawn to us I thought.

"Well your looks have changed a little" Marko said.

"That doesn't give him the right to put his hands on me" I said.

"Oh no that's not what I meant. I just meant your time away seems to have agreed with you" Marko said.

"You noticed I was gone" I said shocked.

"You know you were never as invisible as you liked to think" Noah said and smiled. I laughed and so did they. They helped me up and offered to walk me to the cafeteria. I excepted because I had no idea where Brad was. As we got closer I saw Dietrich coming towards us and Ryan pacing in front of the cafeteria. The rest of my friends behind him looking worried. Darn I upset them again, now they weren't even going to let me go to the bathroom by myself.

"Miss Lucy are you alright" Dietrich asked?

"I'm fine" I said and then the rest of my friends rushed us.

"Lucy what happened" Rena asked?

"Why do you look so pale" Rebeca asked?

"Well we are going to leave you with your friends" Noah said.

"Thank you guys so much" I said.

"Any time my lady it was our pleasure" said Marko and he bowed.

"My hero's" I said as I fake swooned.

The three of us laughed and they walked off.

What was that about and who are the hotties" Arena asked?

"Yeah who were those guys" Ryan and Brady said at the same time. They sounded mad. So I told them what happened. Dietrich was so angry.

"I will kill him" Dietrich said.

"No you will leave him alone. All of you, do I make myself clear" I said.

"But miss Lucy he has no right to touch you" Dietrich said. I looked at Rebeca because I just didn't have strength for the warrior stuff.

Rebeca put her hands on either side of Dietrich's face and pulled him closer to her.

"My big handsome warrior you are bound to Lucy you need to listen to her. She said leave the dumb jock alone. So that means you can't touch the stupid human" Rebeca said.

"But" Dietrich started and she interrupted him.

"Shut up and kiss me" Rebeca said and he did.

"Well I'm not bound by anything. And I will kill him" said Maverick.

"No you will not or I will never speak to you again" I said.

"But Lucy" Brady started.

"This conversation is over. I will use my powers on the one who goes after him" I said.

"But Lucy he doesn't deserve your protection" Ryan said.

"He's human an all life is precious, even his" I said.

"You are truly an angel Lucy" Adonis said.

"I agree, your to good for any of us" Arken said.

"I'm not any different than you guys" I said.

"Listen up guys Lucy's right we are all supernatural and if we use our powers we might expose her and we can't do that. So nobody harms the human, agreed" Adonis said. The rest of them reluctantly agreed. And it hit me I finally belonged some where. I wasn't alone anymore.
