Lucy's POV

I woke up in the prettiest room I have ever seen. It was all my favorite colors. They were blended so perfectly. The bed was so soft and squishy I could stay here forever. But I skipped dinner with the mermaids and I was starving. I sat up slowly and looked around and that's when I saw them. Dietrich and Rebeca were cuddled on a couch. She was laying half on top of him with her head on his chest. He had his arm wrapped around her. They looked so comfy I didn't have the heart to wake them. They made a cute couple I thought. Then smiled and quietly left the room. I was walking down a huge hallway when something came flying around the corner. Right into me and knocked me off my feet.

"Now you see what you did Tanja. You knocked the pretty lady down. You know mother said no wings in the house." Said a boy as he put his hand out and pulled me up. When I looked at him I couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. He had big shoulders sandy blonde hair. And the most striking gray-blue eyes.

"Well if you weren't chasing me I wouldn't need my wings" Tanja said.

"Its ok she didn't mean any harm" I said.

Tanja smiled at me and I smiled back at her.

"Hi Lucy are you feeling better" Tanja asked?

"Yes I am really hungry is there a kitchen in this maze" I asked?

"We will show you. By the way my name is Ryan" said the boy.

"I'm Lucy, its nice to meet you Ryan" I said.

"Where's Rebeca and the hottie" Tanja said.

"Tanja I'm sure he has a name that's rude" Ryan said.

"What, that's what Beca keeps calling him in her head" Tanja said.

"Just because you can read minds doesn't mean you should repeat everything you hear" Ryan said.

"You know Tanja he's right you shouldn't repeat private stuff" I said.

"Ok Lucy I wont do it anymore" she said.

"I tell you a million times and you don't listen. She tells you once and you listen" Ryan said.

"She's pretty and kind, your not" Tanja said and stuck her tongue out at him. I couldn't help but laugh. They acted like brother and sister.

"Are you two related" I asked?

"He's my cousin and Rebeca's brother. Where is Rebeca" Tanja asked?

"She's sleeping" I said and then we reached the dining room.

"What do you want to eat" Ryan asked?

"Where is the kitchen you want me to cook" I asked.

"We don't cook" Tanja laughed.

"What would you like Lucy" Ryan asked?

"French toast, eggs and bacon" I said.

Ryan snapped his fingers. Then there was a plate in front of me with French toast, eggs and bacon. I was amazed

"Wow" I said and they laughed.

"So what do you want to do Lucy" Tanja asked?

"Well is there away to get a message to my dad so he doesn't worry" I said.

"Rebeca called your uncle explained everything. She said you needed to rest" Tanja said.

"Ok good then can we explore? Will both of you do me the honor of showing me your world" I asked?
