Dietrich carried Lucy in. She was breathing but not conscious. What more must this sweet child go thru.

"Tony go get the doctor and the seeker. Luna (Lucy's grandmother) can you heal her" I said to Tony and Luna.

What happened" I asked Dietrich?

"We were in the garden she talked to the dragonflies actually talked to one" he said stunned.

"Certainly they didn't do this, their not violent" I said.

"No we were on the beach. There was a sleather in trouble........" he was saying but I cut him off.

"You let her go in the water" I said with a raised voice.

"Mac if you let the boy finish a sentence you might actually find out what happened" Luna said. I gestured for him to continue.

"I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. So I transformed" he said and looked down.

"You what, are you mad. You could have killed her" I said.

"No! She transformed into a dragon unlike any I have ever seen. She flipped over my head grabbed me from behind thru me in a cliff and I was knocked out" he said.

"Huh" was all I said.

"When I came to she had her hands on my chest. She said she transformed into a mermaid, healed the sleather and me. Then she passed out" he said.

Wow her powers were coming really fast. This is what I was afraid of.

"Can you heal her" I asked Luna?

"I don't know. She doesn't appeared to be injured just exhausted" she said.

"She has been thru a lot and her powers are coming very quickly" I said.

Then the doctor and the seeker walked in. The doc. started checking her out. I asked the seeker to see if she could get into her head and make sure she was ok.

"I can't sir she has some sort of protective block" the seeker said.

"Is she doing it, blocking you I mean" I asked?

"Yes but she doesn't know she's doing it. Its some sort of involuntary protection" she said.

Just then the doctor took out a needle.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you" the seeker said to the doctor.

"Its to help her and stable her body so she can wake up" the doc. said annoyed.

"Its your funeral" the seeker said.

The doctor put the needle to Lucy's arm but was unable to puncture her skin. Then he and his needle went flying across the room. I looked at the seeker and she nodded. My granddaughter was getting more impressive by the moment.

"Well she needs rest. I have fixed a room for her across from your old room Dietrich. Take her there and Elli can sit with her until she wakes" Luna said.

"No I'll stay with her" Dietrich said.

"Listen to the queen boy. You must be tired. You have been thru a lot too" I said.

"With all do respect sir its my job to protect her and I will stay with her until she wakes" he said in a rather demanding tone. I should have been mad he was talking to his king this way. But I knew the bond between royal and warrior. Tony would never leave my side if I had been injured so I nodded. He took her upstairs.
