Lucy's POV

I looked at them coming through the portal. I could feel tears of relief well up in my eyes. It was funny how our group of misfits made me feel so strong and safe. I just felt empty when they weren't around. They looked a little mad, I knew they would be. Then their looks changed to concern and I knew they could see my unshed tears. Brady stepped up first and wiped a tear from my cheek that had escaped.

"Lucy what's wrong and why did you leave without us?" Brady asked.

"I'm sorry I needed to talk to your parents. I thought it might go better if you guys weren't present. However I was wrong. I have never met a more impossible group of people in my life. They just don't want to see any truth but their own. I just don't get how they become kings and queens without being able to even consider the other persons point of view." I ranted then stopped when I noticed the shocked look mirrored on all their faces. I expected anger for going behind their back but I wasn't sure what to do with shock. And didn't quite understand where it was coming from. "What?" I asked because I couldn't take not knowing any longer.

"Lucy you didn't have time to go and speak to all our parents separately?" Arena said as more of a question.

"No uncle Benny helped me bring them all here. I spoke to them together or at least I tried." I said disappointed in myself it didn't go better then it did.

"All of our parents?" Maverick asked a little shocked.

"Yes well uncle Cedrick was already here with dad. But its pretty much a given that where ever I go Dietrich goes because he's my warrior. Aunt Remmy I mean the queen and king of the fairies would probably go along with what ever I said out of love for my mother. And grandmother (queen of the mermaids) would too if my grandfather could stop trying to place blame on everybody for my mothers death..." I rambled on until Adonis put his hands on my shoulders stopping my ramble.

"Lucy slow down we are not even on the same page as you. Do you think you could start from the beginning? And tell us why you would want to talk to our parents?" Adonis asked.

"And how you did it without them killing each other?" Arken said as he laughed.

"Well their royalty so I don't think they would have killed each other. But one of them threw a chair." I said.

"Oh my goodness who?" Rebeca squealed.

"I'm not sure it was either Arken's dad or my grandfather. They were standing opposite each other shooting daggers with their eyes and the chair was flying thru the air between them. So I disintegrated it in midair." I said.

"Oh my god Lucy you have a new power. Are you ok? Did it hurt to use it? Brady asked with concern. This surprised me I thought they might be upset I used my powers near their parents.

"Your not mad I used my powers in a room with all your parents and the watchers?" I asked because I was upset with myself, from loosing control around them. Especially so near humans even if they were advanced.

"They deserve it for acting like children." Arken said.

"Thank you, finally I'm not the only one who thinks their behaving like two year olds." I said.

"Miss Lucy what is a watcher?" Dietrich asked.

"Well you guys remember Marko, Noah and of course Brad?" I asked and they all shook their heads yes. So I continued.

"They are watchers. A group of humans who are stronger, faster and live longer than normal humans. They observe and keep what they think is an accurate record of the supernatural world." I said with a chuckle because they really didn't know the half of it.
