Everybody Wants Lucy {12}

Lucy's POV

"Wow a great warrior, a good friend and you can really cook. Who would have guessed" I said as I finished my third plate.

"Mmhm" Elli moaned as she finished her fifth plate.

"The food is so good here I never eat like this" I said.

"Your powers are coming in very quickly princess, that makes you extra hungry. Plus no other realm has food like the dragon realm" Dietrich said.

"For the last time Dietrich call me Lucy" I said.

"I'm sorry prin... I mean Lucy" he said.

"Ok so where do you want to go first" Elli asked?

"Well we should get dressed first. Then I have to stop by the garden and see Moe. After that we can go where ever you want" I said.

"We are going to have so much fun" Elli squealed.

"There are some people in my room can I borrow something of yours" I said.

"Sure I'm a little bigger than you. But we can find something" she said.

"Dietrich meet us in the gardens and wait. It takes us girls longer to get ready" I said and Elli giggled. Her room was pretty it was a little frilly but not over done. I had a plan I was hoping she'd go along with it.

"Listen Elli I know we just met but will you trust me" I asked?

"Why not I never get in trouble anyway. Daddy always saves me as long as I don't lie to him" she said.

"Does he tell you the truth" I asked

"Yes" she said and sounded so confident.

"How can you be sure" I asked?

"Because he's my daddy silly" she said.

That brought tears to my eyes I wish I could have that kind of faith in my dad. I pushed them back down I had something to do.

"Ok we are going to go visit somebody and we might get in trouble later" I said.

"Is this important to you" she asked?

"Yes" I said.

"Ok" she said.

I took her hand and transported us to the beach. I led her to the water and told her to put her arms around my neck. I transformed in to a mermaid.

"Oh My God that is awesome. Your tale is beautiful" Elli said.

"I know, I like to think of it as a gift from my mother. Since I don't have any memories" I said. I was swimming with her on my back until we got to a rock about fifty feet out. We both climbed on to the rock.

"Ok now what do you know about sleathers" I asked?

"Their bad and that's why I can't go in the water". She said in a bored tone like she's heard this a million times.

"Ok here's where you need to trust me and have an open mind" I said.

"Ok" she said. I was really starting to love this girl.

"Aruba can you hear me Aruba" I called.

She came out of the water with two guys. And in the daylight I could see the true beauty of them. The satin dragon skin on the top of their bodies sparkled and looked so soft. And the fish part wasn't scalely looking but shimmered almost like the vibrant colors were changing and moving as they did. Everything here was so vibrant and alive. I was really falling in love with the dragon world.
