Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.16}

Dragon King's POV

I was in my library when Frederick and Benjamin burst into the room.

"Father where is Lucy and what is going on around here" Frederick said.

"What ever do you mean" I said.

"Dad come on he's worried" Benjamin said.

"Ok well tell me what your talking about" I said stalling.

"I can't find Lucy. I asked Tony if he saw her. He said she's with the dragonflies. The dragonflies said she's with Aruba. Aruba said she's with mom. Mom said she's with Tony" Frederick said.

"Look dad just tell us we know you know. Because she wouldn't go any where without telling you" Benjamin said.

"Ok well she's fine" I said.

"Where is she father" Frederick said thru clenched teeth. Benjamin put his hands on Frederick shoulders.

"Calm down" Benjamin told his brother.

"Her mermaid friends were in trouble she went to help" I said.

"You let her go" Frederick said.

"I tried to talk her out of it but she needed to help" I said.

"Why do you let her do what ever she wants" he asked?

"When I became king I knew things. I just knew what was right. I listen to my advisors. You know how much your mother and Tony's opinions mean to me. But when all those people talk to me about something I already know what I'm going to do. it's a knowledge that comes with a lot of power. The only person I know who is more powerful and knowledgeable than me is your grandfather. That is until I met my granddaughter. If she say's she needs to do this then she does" I said.

"She's just a child" Frederick said.

"Maybe but she is the most powerful and intelligent child I have ever met" I said.

"Do you know where they are" Benjamin asked?

"She's with the mermaids. I just received word that the rescue was a success. She's going to be with them for a few days. Lucy said for you two to go to Benjamin's and wait for her to meet you there" I said.

"What how did you receive word. And since when does my daughter give us orders" Frederick said.

"She sent word with this magnificent creature" I said as I stroked the eagle who was perched on my desk. "Thank you my regal friend you may go" I said to the bird who flew out the window.

"How, only Kings, Queens and supreme beings can control them" Benjamin said.

"That's what I have been trying to tell you. She is like no other being I have met. She is much more special" I said.

"Thank you father we will let you know when she show's up at the house" Benjamin said.

"What" Frederick yelled.

"Well Freddy what other option do we have" Benjamin said.

"We will go say goodbye to mother and let Cedrick know" Frederick said. I said goodbye to them and they left. It was going to be a lot quieter around here, to quiet. I thought to myself.

Unknown POV

I watched as she got the angels to help her and the dragon boy rescue the mermaids and the shark creatures. After the angels left she looked at the dragon.

"What's the mater princess" he said.

"Nothing I just don't know what to say to them" she said.

"Speak from your heart. A heart as beautiful and compassionate as yours can't go wrong" he said. She closed her eyes then everything started to move again.

"Oh My God Lucy your ok" the girl mermaid said.

"Yes I'm fine. Arena Brady this is Dietrich my warrior and my best friend" the princess said. Arena frowned but didn't say anything.

The princess turned to the shark creatures.

"I would introduce you but I don't know your names. My name is Lucy" she said.

"What kind of trickery is this little girl. Where did you come from and how did all of us get off that ship" The shark creature sneered as he advanced on the princess. At lightening speed three things happened. The mermaid boy and the dragon went to step in front of the princess. She moved away from them. As the shark creature was going to attack her. Lucy lifted her left arm and said wind. A mini tornado twirled around the shark and lifted him off the ground. His friends started to move toward the princess. She lifted her right arm and said fire. Then a ring of fire surrounded them and they couldn't move. She was not an elemental. Only elementals and supreme beings could control the elements. I wanted to stay to see how this turned out and to make sure she was safe. Even though I knew she would be fine. None of these creatures could be a threat to her. And I had to report this new development. Farewell princess for now I said to myself and left.

Lucy's POV

"Now as I was saying my name is Lucy and I want to be your friend. But you are going to have to be nice and grow some manners" I said.

"Why should we trust you" The shark guy said.

"Well because I have the upper hand. And I could have saved my friends and left you on the boat. But I didn't because I want to know you" I said.

"You are a strange girl" he said. I laughed at that.

"Oh you don't know the half of it" I said. He smiled so I asked again.

"What's your name"?

"I am Arken. Can you put me down please" the shark guy said.

"Well since you asked so nice" I said and smiled.

"Thank you wind thank you fire. May you always blow strong and burn bright. Peace go with you both" I said. The tornado and the ring of fire disappeared.

"Lucy you can't trust them" Brady said.

"You can't trust me. But I think I like her" Arken said.

"I think I like you too" I said and shot Brady a dirty look.

"We have to get back or there going to send guys looking for us" Arken said.

"Why are you important too" I asked?

"I'm a prince. How about you" he asked?

"Well don't hold this against me. But I just found out that I'm a dragon princess a mermaid princess and part angel. I know you don't like two out of the three" I said.

"Well that's quite a pedigree. And you just found this out" he said.

"Well recently, my family thought it would be a good idea to hide it from me" I said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Brady and Arena put their heads down.

"And how did that work out for you" Arken asked?

"Not so much" I said.

"Well thank you for saving our lives. I would like to talk more with you, but I have to go right now. Goodbye Lucy until we meet again" Arken said and they swam off.
