Everybody Wants Lucy {Ch.22}

Lucy's POV

We went to the beach and like everything else here it was beautiful. The water was so clear you could see straight to the bottom. The sand was a white/blueish color and so soft you didn't need a blanket. But we had one any way. Rebeca and I were sitting on it. With Pallavi and Tinniekitty curled up behind us. Dietrich and Ryan were sitting by the water watching Tanja playing tag with a dolphin who kept going invisible and sneaking up on her.

"Is it always so peaceful here" I asked?

"Pretty much, Lucy can I ask you something" Rebeca said.

"Sure you can ask me anything" I said.

"Do you like Dietrich? Romantically I mean" she said.

"No, do you" I said with a smirk on my face.

"Yes" she said and blushed. "Do you mind if I ask him out" she asked?

"No I don't mind at all. But there is a few things you should know" I said not sure if was my place to tell her. But I didn't want to see either of them get hurt.

"Like what" she asked?

"Well I can sense his feelings as he can sense mine. When he likes somebody that way its always going to be a serious thing. He will never be able to do casual. Plus he and I can't be to far from each other, it's a warrior thing. And I don't want you to feel like I'm butting in or crowding you. The last thing is probably not my place to say, but its important. I don't know any of the details and a lot of it is just me putting things together. Dietrich had a girlfriend and I think she broke his heart" I said.

"Well first I know you have only ever seen me do casual relationships. But that was because they were humans. Its different with other supernatural creatures because I can be honest about who I really am. Second Lucy you could never crowd me. I think its because our mothers were so close. Their love and friendship somehow passed to us. When you were gone I almost went mad. I was so worried about you. So you see I can't be that far away from you either. As far as his ex goes she is a stupid bi*ch to let him get away. And her loss is my gain" she said and I laughed.

"You are one of a kind. You are also beautiful inside and out my friend" I said.

"Right back at you girlfriend" she said and we both laughed.

"Hey you want to get the guys" she said in her wicked voice.

"Why what do you have in mind" I said.

Then she snapped her fingers and to buckets of water appeared. I smiled at her. We each grabbed a bucket ran up to the guys and dumped it on them. Then we ran for our lives. While we were running I looked back and didn't see them so I slowed down. Rebeca looked back she didn't see them either.

"Lucy wings now" she said. Both of us let our wings out and we were hovering.

"Nice try big brother but we are not falling for it. You have to let go of him to grab one of us. And your power of invisibility wont extent to him unless you toughing him" Rebeca said and she chuckled.

Then suddenly they appeared in front of us their wings out too. And they tackled us to the ground. Dietrich started tickling Rebeca. Ryan tried to tickle me but went flying off of me, thru no will of his own. He landed about a hundred feet away. I knew what had just happened. I looked at Rebeca squirming under Dietrich laughing and wished just for a while I could be a normal girl. Then I walked over to Ryan put my hand out to help him up.
