Macaleb POV

Lucy came walking in the room.

"Father, uncle" she said and nodded at them. Then she ran to me and hugged me I hugged her back.

"Grandfather" she said and looked so excited but tired.

"Lucy where have you been" Frederick said in a harsh tone.

She looked at him for a moment with sadness in her eyes. Then turned back to me.

"Grandfather can I talk to you alone" she asked.

"Your father and I aren't going any where until we talk to you" Benjamin said.

"Grandfather please its important" Lucy said.

"Can they stay if they promise not to interrupt" I said.

"Ok" she said.

"First we are all worried about you and how getting your powers all at once is going to effect you. So you can't run off and not tell anybody where you are going" I said.

"I know I'm sorry I heard it from Dietrich when I got back" she said.

"I knew I liked that boy" I chuckled.

"Elli said if she always tell you the truth, you tell her the truth. Is this true" Lucy asked?

I saw my sons squirm out of the corner of my eye.

"Yes it is" I said.

"You are my grandfather and my King can you promise me the same. And can you keep an open mind" she asked?

"Yes I can promise you both" I said not sure were she was going with this.

"I haven't been in your kingdom long but I am already falling in love with it" she said. And she flashed the biggest brightest smile I have ever seen.

"But why are your people so separate. You can't hear the dragonflies. And Moe said you could if your minds were open. And why do you think the sleathers are evil. Because I have talked to them and their not" she said.

"What you have been in the water again. Lucy they could have killed you I forbid you to go back in the water" Frederick yelled. Lucy looked at me with a pleading look in her eyes.

"Frederick if you can't be quiet you can leave" I said.

He mumbled father and looked like he was going to pout. Lucy noticed and smiled.

"Lucy it has always been this way. They can not be trusted" I said.

"How do you know? Have you talked to them" she asked?

"My father told me" I said.

"Look I healed one of their children last night and now he can heal too. There was an attack on their people many were hurt. I went to their home and healed them. They were nothing but kind to me" she said

"Lucy are you ok? Healing takes a lot out of your grandmother and she has been doing it longer" I said.

"I'm fine just tired. When we are done I'm going to take a nap" she said

"Lucy there is bad blood between the sleathers and us" I said.

"Aruba is their queen, she has agreed to meet with you and keep an open mind" she said.

"Lucy father can't just run off and have tea with them" Frederick said.

"And why not tea is a good way to start" she said.
