Uncle Benny's POV

I heard the car doors slam and knew it was the kids. I sighed, I just spent a half hour talking Frederick out of running after Lucy. I told Cedrick to take him out for a drink and calm him down. I knew the kids would show up here. Lucy told me she left them a note. If we all didn't chill out a little. We were going to chase Lucy away and then none of us would be able to protect her. They came busting thru the door.

"Lucy has run off again, we have to find her." Arena the mermaid girl said.

"She's fine I spoke to her." I said.

"The sharknoid can not be trusted." Brady the mermaid boy said.

"Lucy trusts him and I trust her. As should all of you. Now Dietrich can you sense Lucy. Is she upset or stressed?" I asked.

"Yes, I can feel her and she's ok. She is actually happy." Dietrich said.

"Good now the rest of you go home. Come back at six thirty for dinner and check on Lucy yourself. But none of you chase after her understand." I said. They nodded and started to leave.

"Sir can Rebeca and I watch a movie in my room?" Dietrich asked.

"Ok but I'm holding you to your honor as a warrior. Do not disrespect this beautiful lady in any way. Do you understand me son?" I said.

"Yes sir." Dietrich said.

Lucy's POV

"Arken I love that bike." I laughed.

"It is quite fast and smooth." He said with awe.

"I'm so happy one of my friends had to much class then to deliberately embarrass Brad." I said.

"Oh don't give me to much credit I didn't stay out of it for him. I stayed out of it for me." he said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I think he should die for what he did to you. I don't believe any male should violate a female. No matter what species they are." he said.

"Then why did you not help them with their revenge?" I asked. Not that I wanted him to.

"Well see I'm not bound to you by fate like the angels and the dragon. I'm not blindly in love with you like the fairy and Brady. We are friends, you are probably my only real friend." he said.

"That's not true I know you have friends." I said.

"Those guys are only my friends because I'm their prince. However you like me for just me." he said.

"That's true I don't care if you're a prince." I said.

"So that's why I can't hurt the human. Because my good friend asked me not to. I have to avoid him or I will kill him for what he did to my friend. And then I would lose my only real friend." Arken said.

I decided to change the subject.

"What did you want to show me? And why couldn't the others come?" I asked.

"Because I don't much care for them, except the mermaids" Arken said.

"You like the mermaids" I asked?

"Arena's special and only I am allowed to push Brady around." Arken said.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"You like Arena?" I asked, shocked.

"It doesn't matter." he said.

"Of course it does. Why wouldn't it?" I asked.
