The Vampire Diaries: The Impossible Part 1

Chapter 5

"I told you Elena, you're not pregnant!" Meredith hissed. Why was she so mad? Elena sighed.

"Thank GOD!" Elena pulled out the tester and layed it on the counter.

"Ewwww!" Bonnie screeched, cringing away. "Get that out of here!" Elena rolled her eyes and threw out the tester.

"Guess I won't be needing that for a while!" Elena went to sit down on her bed.

"Or hope you don't need it anymore!" Bonnie sang, then dived onto her bed, closing her eyes. Meredith stormed out of their dorm suddenley.

"What's up with Meredith?" Elena whispered to Bonnie, but Bonnie was already deep in sleep. Elena decided to go to the bonfire, since Meredith disappeared and Bonnie wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

The fire crackled and spit sparks into the air. It's orange and yellow flames burst up and down. Elena could only smell booze and sweat. Fast music boomed from a stereo. Elena weaved her way through the crowd to the drinks station. She bumped into a hard, strong male. He looked up shyly.

"I... I know you." Elena said to him and he grinned. He was from-

"Yeah! I work at Starbucks!" Elena grinned, remembering the experience and poured herself some beer.

"I know... you met my friend there also..."

"Meredith?" He smirked. Elena nodded and sipped her drink from a red, plastic cup with a white rimming at the top.

"Where is she?" Elena frowned, not knowing where she was. Last time she saw her was after 'dinner' and she was mad! She shrugged and it got quiet. To save it from awkwardness, Meredith appeared, her face bright red, gulping down from a beer bottle. Beer? I've never seen Meredith drink...

"Well... I'll leave Meredith and...?" None of them knew his name.

"Liam." He smiled at Meredith.

"Liam. Liam! Okay, well then I'll leave you and LIAM to it!" Elena started walking away, but stopped to whisper, "Go for him," to Meredith. Meredith blushed and started walking away with Liam. Elena smiled to herself, sipping and walking toward the fire again. Suddenly, she thought of Damon because she had no distractions and started gulping.

"Since when do you drink?" She heard a deep, sexy voice behind her. She starting choking and dropped her cup. Was that...

"Damon? Damon! DAMON!" She turned and ran toward him. He held his arms open and she jumped into them. She started laughing and crying hysterically. He hugged her back tightly and then they pulled away and for a moment, stared into each other's eyes. Elena's head started spinning, but she gained control and kissed him full on the lips.

"Elena... oh Elena!" He murmured as they kissed. She felt a rush of air and suddenly they were back in her dorm. She fell back onto her bed with him. He kissed her hungrily.

"You're- you're back!" Elena gasped as he kissed her roughly. He pulled away, his dark hair falling in his eyes.

"Did- did I hurt-hurt you?" He asked, afraid for Elena, afraid of himself. She shook her head and pulled him down on her again. His lips met hers eagerly and she dragged up his shirt away from his stomach. She felt his perfect, pale stomach. His hands went up Elena's shirt, feeling the desire for her, not her blood. A new desire.

"Oh! Look who decided to come back to the land of the living." Meredith said behind them. Elena tried to push him off of her, but he just turned to face Meredith, not taking his hands off of her. His eyes went wide and he flashed his 250-kilowatt smile. His face went smooth again in less than a fifth of a second.

"Look who decided to go to college!" Damon's mouth curled into an evil smile. "Thought you were going to run off into the sunset with A-laric." Meredith's expression turned cold. She stormed out of the dorm. Elena then remembered that Meredith wasn't single. She sighed. Poor Liam. But where was Alaric anyways? Elena then forgot about him and Meredith and all of her problems because Damon kissed her again.
