The Vampire Diaries: The Impossible Part 1

Chapter 34

"Damn, does it feel good to be back." Stefan sighed, as he took in the entrance of the boarding house.

"Ya..." Katherine looked uncomfortable. This amused Damon, because she obviously didn't know where the hell they were.

"Well, Elena..." Damon said her name sarcastically, giving her a smug grin. "You can share a room with-"

"Stefan." She smiled back and he scowled.

"That's just what I was going to say." He muttered quietly, glaring at the floor.

"Let's go to your room, then..." Katherine said to Stefan, brightly, and he hesitantly nodded, sending Damon a look.

What the hell?

Just go with it.

Damon smirked, leaning against the wall. Bonnie stared at Meredith for a bit, until she finally got the signal.

"Guys... wait." Bonnie said suddenly, still eyeing Meredith. Meredith sent her a reassuring smile, and Bonnie finally turned away from her, only to lock eyes with Damon.

"We have something to tell you." Meredith took over and Stefan shared a weird look with his brother, both of them confused. Katherine was only slightly confused, not knowing that they were about to share information, that she already knew.

"What? What is it?" Damon asked, leaning forward, off of the wall.

"Well..." Katherine showed a little bit of her attitude-filled side, when they didn't respond. She thought that it was safe to, because Elena had a huge attitude, but everyone saw through her.

Everyone already knew it wasn't her, no one knew why she was still trying...

"Trithle's coming to Mystic Falls." Bonnie whispered and Meredith spoke up, just in case they didn't hear. But they were vampires, they heard.

"There was no point in running." They were getting on Damon's and Stefan's last nerve. The Salvatore brothers were beyond pissed.

"What is the relation between Trithle, Shinichi and Misao, though?" Stefan asked and Damon became confused again.

"Shinichi and Misao? What the hell do they have to do with this?" Damon spoke up, causing everyone to look at him.

"Oh ya... he doesn't know..." Meredith breathed out and Damon narrowed his eyes at her.

"Know what?" He urged them to answer, getting even more curious and furious by the second. Why weren't they telling him? Was it something important?

"Trithle's... a kitsune." Bonnie explained to him and he gaped at her.

"What? How did I not see it before?" He sounded more like he was asking himself this, instead of everybody else.

Too busy paying attention to me...?

'Elena' offered, adding a wink at the end, which Damon rolled his eyes at.

"Why would you keep this from me?" He shouted and Meredith took a step back, but Bonnie remained where she was, not scared of him at all. Meredith wasn't scared, she was just... taking precautions.

"You were too busy dealing with Elena! Or whoever the hell she is!" Bonnie suddenly screamed at him, flinging a finger in Katherine's direction.

"I'm Elena." She hissed, glaring at the red head. Just as it was about to get out of hand, Mrs. Flowers stepped into the front entrance, making everyone shut their mouths and straighten up.

"Elena! Stefan!" She gasped, hugging all of them, even though she only said two names. Damon flinched in her arms, making a disgusted face the whole time, but didn't pull away, to everyone's surprise.
