Damon sprang up and grabbed Elena.
"Elena, this is Bonnie you're killing! You're best friend! Stop and think!"
But Elena wouldn't stop or listen. She didn't even hesitate. Damon pulled her off with all of his might. They both fell backwards as Bonnie crumpled to the ground.
"Bonnie!" Stefan shouted. He sped forward and caught her. "BONNIE!" He started shaking her.
Elena was fighting Damon, her teeth showing as she growled at Bonnie.
"ELENA!" Damon yelled into her ear. She flinched. For some reason, she finally listened to Damon. "Bonnie is dying... AND IF YOU DON'T STOP... she will die." Elena froze and then looked at Bonnie sadly.
"Oh Bonnie." She whispered. Stefan was looking at them helplessly.
"Move." Damon ordered coldly and took Stefan's place. He always seemed to know what to do, unlike Stefan.
He cut himself with his teeth yet again and let it fall into Bonnie's mouth. He didn't have to take any of her blood, Elena almost took all of it. When Damon started feeling weak and Bonnie was moving, he stopped feeding her his blood.
"Bonnie?" Elena breathed, still across the room, afraid that she might attack her again.
Damon's little red bird opened her big brown eyes.
"What happened?" She pushed the two vampire's off of her and stood up by herself.
"It was my fault." Elena cried through her teeth, scared to even breath and catch Bonnie's scent again. "I took a lot of blood." She said after a long pause.
"Well Elena still needs more blood since she's new to this life." Stefan said. "Come one. Let's hu-"
"I'll take her hunting." Damon interrupted, stepping forward. "Animal blood makes you weak." He looked at Stefan, grinning. "Stefan is a great example of the effects."
Stefan rolled his eyes.
"Sorry Damon. I love you and all, but I just can't drink human blood."
"Fine. I'm still coming, though."
"I'll go find Mere. Have... fun?" Bonnie tried. Elena shook her head and mouthed, "No."
Together, they walked out of the trashed dorm, not seeing the bright orange feather on the ground where Bonnie used to be standing.
