Trithle made sure to stand in front of Damon's almost-limp body, so that Stefan and Bonnie didn't have easy-access to helping him. Trithle just grinned at them, as Katherine slipped into the room.

"It's all ready." Katherine raised an eyebrow at the kitsune triplet, silently informing him, that she lit the boarding house on fire, from the inside.

Trithle nodded, his cat-like eyes flickering to Stefan's moving figure. He stepped to the right, foot by foot, ever-so slowly.

"Isn't this room a little too small to settle things?" Stefan pointed out, grabbing Bonnie and dashing up the stairs, and into the fresh evening air.

"What's there to settle?" Trithle questioned, innocently smiling, after appearing in front of them, perched on a crumbling gravestone.

"Isn't everything already determined?" Katherine asked, grinning, and ducking just as Stefan took a swing at her head.

"We both know you wouldn't have done that, if I couldn't avoid it." She stood back up, straight, slapping Stefan across the face.

"Katherine?" Stefan choked out, and her expression immediately changed. Katherine grimaced, and finally started to accept the fact that everyone, except Mrs. Daises, knew who she really was.

"Yes?" She spit out.

"Why are you doing this?" He sighed and she took a violent step towards him, causing him to take a step backwards.

"Because of Elena." She finally admitted.

"Why are you so jealous?" This was the worst thing to say out loud, to her, because it instantly twisted Katherine's already-horrible mood.

"Jealous?" She fake-laughed. "You think I'm jealous?" Katherine acted as if she couldn't believe him, but really, she was scared, because he was dead on.

"No Katherine, I know you're jealous." It took her a while to respond to that, studying Stefan's face carefully, only to discover that he was being completely serious.

"Because you love her." She blurted out, real emotion spreading onto her tight features and spilling out of her mouth.

"Bonnie?" Damon groaned, opening his eyes, -well, attempting to- as Bonnie struggled to get the vervain-ropes off of him.

I'm here.

She sent him, not wanting him to struggle just to hear her.

"Where's-" Bonnie pressed a finger to his lips, hushing him. She then continued to undo the ropes, after realizing that he wasn't going to to try to talk, anymore.

Stefan? Where is he?

Bonnie froze, finally remembering him, and how she left him, all alone, to face Katherine and Trithle. It's not like she could fight them off, but she could be a good distraction...

Bonnie? Is he okay?

I-

She started to work on freeing him again, and finally got the ropes off.

I don't know.

Her gaze dropped, but he grabbed her chin and levelled it, again.

"It's okay." He leaned forward, and when his lips touched her neck, she knew exactly what he was doing.

Take whatever you need.

Bonnie relaxed, when he started draining an artery. He didn't realize that she was almost about to black out, after some time, until she started leaning against him, for support.
