Damon had found her and brought her back, locking her in her dorm and standing guard for the next two days.

There was a knock on the door, causing Elena to jump. She tried to get past him to open it, but he blocked it off and opened it himself.

Bonnie and Meredith walked in, Bonnie holding something behind her back. Elena sat back down on the bed, after Damon glared at her, and rolled her eyes, looking at the wall.

"Guess what we've got?" Meredith said with a smile, which surprised everyone. Elena's head snapped up and she peered at Meredith curiously, then at Bonnie, who revealed what she was hiding.

It was a pink flyer. And it was out of Bonnie hand before she could read what it said.

Elena studied it, a grin forming on her lips as she read it. They all watched her closely.

"A party!" Her eyes flashed blue, but then went back to black, getting Damon's hopes up, then crushing them.

She threw the paper into the air, which landed right beside her and started jumping on the bed.

"Ya, and it's tonight." Meredith informed her, cautious around this 'thing' pretending to be Elena.

"Let's go." Elena hopped off of the bed and appeared next to her closet, already opening the door.

"No, no, no. Bad idea." Damon said and she turned around with a little scowl on her face.

"Have some fun, Damon." She scolded him and turned back to her clothes.

"Ugh. Is this all she-" Elena pulled out a flowery dress and grimaced. She then realized her mistake, and flushed, spinning around to hide her face. "-I. I ever wear?" She tried to cover up, but they all caught her mistake. This thing's mistake.

"This one's okay." She held up a black piece of clothing, not a dress at all. It was a lace black shirt. "Now..." She said, before Damon could stop her. She grabbed one of his jackets lying on a chair and hung it over her arm.

Elena skipped around the room, checking Bonnie's closet for tights, then Meredith's. She smirked, while pulling out black leather tights, raising her eyebrows at Meredith, who kept a straight face.

"Mere... where did you get this?" She giggled and darted into the other room before anyone could stop her.

"What just happened?" Bonnie whispered, still staring at the spot that Elena was last.

"I don't know." It was surprisingly Meredith that murmured that back.

Elena came back in, Damon watching her, controlling his emotions. He showed no want or lust for the beautiful, black-covered girl in front if him. It's what he's always wanted.

Aside from the part that Elena's after Stefan and that it's not actually Elena. But still, she looks like how he had always imagined her. His princess of darkness.

Where'd your little angel go now, Stefan?

Damon thought in his head, smirking at no one in particular, then quickly changing his expression into something cool and collected. He had to remember to show nothing.

"Get ready." Elena whined impatiently.

Meredith walked to her closet and pulled jeans and a sweater out, disappearing into the bathroom.

Bonnie ran over to her closet, more frightened by this imposter than Meredith, but that was only natural, and scavenged her closet for clothes, before running into a different room to change.

An hour later, the sun had finally gone down, leaving the darkness to shadow over everything. Yet it was only eight.

It was outside, the bonfire lighting up the centre, which also contained multiple piles of red cups and alcohol stands.
