*I might change Trithle's name later on, and come back and edit this because I wasn't sure how to spell it. I have it written down, but I forgot to look at it.*

They all watched Meredith being dragged across the floor towards them. They couldn't do anything, they were frozen, except for Elena, of course, but it's not like she was gonna do anything to help Meredith.

"I'm assuming you know him?" Damon growled under his breath and Elena shook her head, a smile on her face. She placed her hand on his hip and shifted her weight onto her right leg, looking totally relaxed, but in control, at the same time.

"You assume wrong." She said sharply, and she was, for once, telling the truth. She knew of him, she had talked to him, once, but she didn't know him.

"Meredith." Bonnie whispered, totally oblivious to the little exchange between Elena and Damon.

"How do I know that you're not lying?" He questioned her, not even glancing at her face. He couldn't bare it.

"You don't." She smirked, walking to the guy's side.

"What's your name?" Stefan asked him and the guy holding Meredith, chuckled.

"Always the first question." He paused. "My name's Trithle, and I'm here, to get a favour done." He surprisingly sounded like he was telling the truth and the brothers both decided that, even though it was pretty sad, they trusted this guy more than Elena, right now.

"Good choice." He answered their thoughts and they stared at him, trying to figure out what and who he was. A name didn't help, and being told that he was on a mission didn't help either, it just led to more questions. But they all knew that they were lucky he answered even that.

He turned to face Elena, grinning, making Damon's fists clench tightly, almost splitting the skin right down the middle.

"This one's lethal." He said, looking back at the struggling Meredith in his arms. He didn't even look like he was trying very hard to keep her in a headlock, she wasn't putting up a very good fight.

"Why are you here?" Damon asked, taking a step closer, a step out of his frozen state.

"A favour." Trithle said, through gritted teeth, not answering the question the way they wanted him to. He needed to go into detail.

No shit.

Damon thought sarcastically, rolling his eyes and moving forwards.

"From who?" He was dangerously close, in his personal space, but Damon didn't care.

"Why do you think I would tell you?" Trithle laughs a little, running hand through his mostly-black hair.

"Because." Damon punched him around the side of the face. "There'll be a punishment if you don't open that God damn mouth of yours." He threatened, while he stumbled backwards. Meredith heeled him in the crotch and ran -right into Damon's arms.

It was weird, really, but they both just went with it. For a little while. They pulled back, a look of disgust covering their faces. They saw each other, then bursted into laughter, Meredith walking to Stefan and Bonnie's sides.

"Fine." Trithle grumbled. "It's a favour..." He looked a little embarrassed, because he looked away, his cheeks flushing even more, making his skin ice white.

"For me." He finished.

Soon enough, after multiple seconds of confusion, Damon and Stefan got it, at the same time.

Ha, ha! I know all about this shit.

Damon sent Stefan, while Stefan sent something to him.

It's revenge. That's the favour.

He concluded and Damon groaned. The little saint just had to interrupt him.

"There's no point in communicating that way, you might as well speak out loud." Trithle informed them, and they sent him a death glare -well, Damon did.

"What if we wanted to keep things from Bonnie?" Damon's smart mouth spoke for him, but he didn't bother to cover it up. Bonnie stuck her tongue out and Damon smiled back. Elena watched them, curiosity covering her face.

"Well, then. That's your choice.." He shrugged and Bonnie made an inhuman noise.

"Will you guys be joining me for lunch?" He smiled, gesturing around him.

"No." Damon said roughly, grabbing. Elena's arm and pulling her towards their room.

"Stop." She tried to shake him off, but he held her too tightly. Even her new vampire muscles couldn't get his hard grip off.

"Stop!" Elena snapped and he instantly let go of her. She smirked, turning away and walking out a nearby exit.

"Where are you going?" His voice went from aggressive to worried in a second.

"Somewhere." She waved him off and stepped outside, letting the door shut behind her. He groaned and followed her outside.

"Elena." He said in a warning tone, popping his head out of the building. He immediately spotted her, her back to him, arms crossed over her chest.

"Can you send Stefan out?" She asked and even though he was hurt, he nodded.

"Of course." His voice cracked, causing her to turn to face him, but he quickly let the door shut to hide himself.

After about ten minutes, out came Stefan. Elena looked up, a smile breaking her frown. She hugged him, and he hesitantly wrapped his arms around her back, unsure what he was allowed. Unsure of his limits, he just left his arms hang awkwardly at her sides, his arms brushing her back.

She was getting very frustrated.

She pulled away, taking his hand and leading him away from the motel. They were soon standing on damp grass, and it turned, even wetter, as their journey progressed.

"Stefan-" Stefan the saint, was way too busy to wait for Elena to finish. He had to get out the most important things.

"Wait. I need to tell you something... well, a few things." That shut her up, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"First, don't bring everyone down with you." His voice is so quiet that she is unsure that she heard him right.

"Second, why the hell are you here, and if you're going to be out here, it should be will Damon." She was avoiding the topic of Damon for the day.

"Ya, well, I don't really want to bother with Damon right now." She admitted and even though Stefan loved her, he also loved his brother, and he knew that she was crushing him.

"Please." He begged and rolled her eyes, her mouth unwillingly curling up at the edges.

"Thanks. I'm gonna go get him." He grinned, then walked away, knowing that she could easily find her way back without anyone's help, but it's not like she was gonna go anywhere. Another dreaded talk between her and Damon was coming, not allowing her to leave.

*AUTHOR'S NOTE*

The TVD episode was amazing! Spoiler: Stefan died! Sorry, had to! I hate when people ruin it for others, but I had to.

Sorry for the sucky chapter, but my eyes are literally closing and crossing against my will. I even considered setting my alarm to the middle of the night so I could wake up and write it.

I'm so tired that I barely even remember writing the words I just wrote during the chapter. But I promised, so here's a sucky chapter to read, but TVD was amazing so... I just had to.

If only I wrote right after it, so I still had the feels -and the energy-, like I normally do. :S

See you Monday. Let me get some sleep. Bye :) ;*
