"Stefan?" Elena called out softly and he appeared in front of her.

"Yes?" He asked hopefully, his whole face lighting up.

She considered teasing him and asking him something unimportant, but the good part of her stopped herself. The bad part talked for her, though.

"I'm feeling good today." She murmured and looked up and down his body. He flushed, a certain feeling of lust filling his eyes and mind. It was as obvious on the outside, as it was on the inside.

"Are you?" He asked cautiously as she stepped forward. He tried to look at her in the eyes, but she refused to let him.

"Oh ya, baby!" She exclaimed and giggled at Stefan's shocked expression. She threw her arms around him and he automatically caught her.

Where the hell was Damon? Shouldn't he be here by now?

Elena realized that this part of her craved the drama of their delicate love triangle.

"Elena." Stefan said in a cautious tone. "Look at me." He ordered, which Elena was surprised about, since he never ordered her around when they were together.

"No." She said playfully, looking down, frustrating Stefan.

"Elena." He warned her and she sighed.

When she finally looked up, her eyes were not their usual colour, and this, Stefan was not used to. He had only seen her with dark eyes once, Damon, on the other hand, had seen it multiple times.

Her eyes were impossibly black, like Damon's, almost, but a hint of blue was there, only able to be seen by true vampire eyes.

He gasped and put a hand over her eyes, angering Elena. When he pulled away because she was violently prying his hand off, her eyes were still black.

She tilted her head and smiled, frightening Stefan.

"Oh Stefan." She licked her lips, her voice not like her own. "You're going to pay for that." In that moment, Stefan knew that Elena was not herself. What he didn't know was what she was going to do.

And as predicted, though a little late, Damon popped into the dorm, stopping Elena from doing whatever she was about to do.

"Elena!" His voice echoed, like a loud boom of something dropping.

She snarled, looking up. Damon saw her black eyes and his heart almost mended itself again. The real Elena would never do this to him. But knowing and seeing are two different things.

"Elena, you need to fight it." He ordered and she froze, then suddenly jerked to the right.

She was doing exactly what he said to do. She was fighting it. Not out of her system, that was impossible now, it was clearly apart of her.

"Elena. You love me." Damon whispered, almost for himself, then he recovered and watched her carefully once more. "Fight it for me."

She let out a high shriek, her back arching at an abnormal, painful angle. Her arms outstretched, it almost looked like she was about to grow another pair of wings. Maybe this was what she was going to do before Damon came. But it was not.

She did not grow another wing power, her eyes were wide, blue, then black, then blue, then black, changing every single time she blinked. This, hopefully, was not a permanent effect.

She hunched over, blinking once more, then not blinking again. The men did not know what colour she had stopped on. They hoped blue, obviously.

She breathed heavily, the fighting over, but no one knew the winner, except Elena herself. Or maybe she didn't, maybe she didn't live and remember to know.

"Elena?" Damon stepped forward and her head snapped up. Stefan gasped at her face. Black veins were visible and breaking against her skin. Her eyes were black. The evil had won and now they had to find a way to stop it, while getting Elena back.

"Yes?" Her voice was rough, not kind. She was smiling so evilly, that it would have been acceptable to kill her right there. But they didn't, they had to fight for the girl that they both loved.

"Damn it." Damon growled and stood perfectly still, Stefan copying him.

"Damn... it?" She asked, faking confused. "Oh Damon." She said just like she had before, except to Stefan.

"What have I done? Should I be asking that? No, what have you done?" She rambled on, Damon listening to her every word and staring at her every motion.

"Damon." She said again, grinning, which was not a good sign, but her being mad was not a good thing, either, so they had to accept whatever she was doing right now.

They could just not let her kill anybody, Elena would be disgusted with herself after, when they had her back. And they could not let her kill herself, Elena was in there somewhere.

"Like I said before, you're not good for me." She said sweetly, with mock sympathy.

Elena, are you in there?

Damon's sent to her, his heart about to burst into a million pieces.

I sure as hell hope so.

She responded back.

This thing had taken over her mind, too. Not a good sign, Elena was soon to be lost.

He tried to block out her words, repeating to himself:

It's not Elena. It's not Elena.

But he couldn't help but listen, this thing was copying her -once sweet to him, now deadly- voice.

"I need someone better, Damon. Except it." She said, nodding at his breaking heart. It was like she was saying, "there, there".

He was not one to except sympathy, it only fuelled him, no, fuelled his anger. The anger that was always there.

"No." He mumbled under his breath. "I will not." His voice rose and she laughed a cold, evil laugh.

"Well you better soon." And with that, she turned away from Damon, facing Stefan.

"As for you." She breathed onto his skin, making him shiver. "You better get used to it." She whispered into his ear, then grabbed his shoulders and pulled him against her.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and connected their lips. Damon cried out in surprise and instead of stopping them, vanished in the other room to think.

He would start a fight if he tried to pull her off, but there was no other way.

After all, they did find out what she was going do to before Damon interrupted them.

*AUTHOR'S NOTE*

There was no TVD last night! :( I literally just wrote this at like 8am because I wrote like three paragraphs last night! I'm obsessed with Pride and Prejudice and was too tired to write a lot!

Anyways, I hoped that you liked it. It was kind of long, but I thought that it was good... except for the part where she kissed Stefan of course.
