Katherine walked back into the room, with Damon right behind her, a fake smile plastered on her face.

Mrs. Flowers immediately showed them to their rooms. Of course, Stefan went with 'Elena', Damon roomed with Bonnie and Meredith shared a bed with Matt.

It wasn't awkward, at all, well, for Meredith and Matt, the other two pairs of 'roomies', well, that's a different story.

Katherine closed the door, a smirk on her face. She turned around with a bright, innocent smile.

Stefan wasn't fooled.

"If we're going to share a bed, I need to know who I'm sharing with." He spat and she pouted, acting confused.

"What do you mean? Do you need a little blood? Go hunting, or something. I'll just be right here..." She trailed off, padding over to the bed and attempting to sit on it.

He grabbed her waist and picked her up, placing her beside it. She very much appreciated their position, his hands on her waist, his face inches away...

"Who are you?" She suddenly felt exhausted. How many times was she going to be asked this? "You're not Elena." He continued on.

"But, don't I look like her?" She grinned evilly, in a little baby voice. She decided to take a different approach, since claiming innocence was something, that didn't work out for her.

"Do you really want to know?" She smirked, running her tongue over her lips, while her eyes flickered back and forth between his eyes and mouth.

He warily nodded, not sure where she was going with this. It couldn't be something good.

"Ask your brother." She stepped back, watching his reaction, then vanished from the room. The door swayed back and forth, from the speed of her sudden exit.

"I get the right side." Damon called and Bonnie whined, grabbing onto his arm, and trying to pull him away from the bed.

"No!" He grinned, pulling out of her arms and jumping onto the bed. "I wanted the left, anyways." She shrugged it off, walking around the rectangular frame, to sit on the other side.

You know who Elena is?

Stefan's voice roared in Damon's head and he cursed under his breath, knowing he was in trouble.

More importantly, you didn't tell me! Or anyone?

He knew Stefan was getting closer and he didn't want to fight inside of the room, with a result of knocking the whole boarding house to the ground.

He rushed out of the room, before Bonnie could ask why, and searched for Stefan in the dark hallway.

He could just make out a shadow, so he lunged forward and grabbed the person's shirt, dragging them out of there.

"What is wrong with you?" It was Stefan, for sure. His voice was furious and rough, not showing Damon any mercy. It's not like he deserved any, anyways.

"Everything." Damon flashed his 250-kilowatt smile at no one in particular, then frowned, just as fast, as he smiled.

(Quick A/N, I have been waiting to use this line. It is in all the other TVD books, multiple times. And it is, surely, my favourite line)

When they got outside, Damon shoved Stefan to the ground, chuckling to himself. Stefan stood up, brushing himself off.

"Already down, little brother?" Damon smirked, just as Stefan rushed forward. He held up one hand, when Stefan tried to push him back. Stefan stumbled back, cursing to himself.
