"Look who the little kitten is, now." Katherine pouted, then slapped Damon across the face. His head whipped to the side, then he slowly, ever so bravely, turned his head to face her again.
"What's the purpose of this, Katherine?" He spat, her name, especially and she giggled, pulling out a black, dangerous-looking object.
Not a weapon that you use to harm someone physically, but mentally. And the worse thing was that Damon didn't know what she was going to do with it.
He knew he'd unwillingly find out, soon, though.
"Shh." She ordered, pressing the button on top of the solid, them settings it down, on broken, fall rocks.
Damon hoped it would fall over and break, but, to his disappointment, it didn't.
"It's started taping." She whispered, putting a finger to her lips. Her fingernails have somehow turned dark red, since the last time he saw her.
When did she have time to paint them?
Katherine straddled his lap and he stiffened. She playfully leaned forward, licking her lips.
"Katherine..." Damon said in a strained, worried voice.
What do you think you're doing?
She ignored him, and turned around in his lap, so her face was visible through the tape.
"This is for you, baby Elena." She blew a kiss, then spun back to Damon and licked her lips.
"What about Stefan?" Damon leaned back as far as possible, even though the vervain ropes around his bare wrists sizzled on his skin.
He winced, but didn't move forward by even a millimetre, aware that Katherine was coming threateningly close.
"Stefan's not here." She grinned and them picked up a jagged rock. "Oh fuck, I forgot that these do nothing." She sliced it against Damon's arm and he just rolled his eyes, the feeling numb.
No blood spilled out, so she tossed it behind her, then put her index finger's nail in her mouth, wetting it.
She dug it into Damon's neck and he scowled, causing him a bit of pain, but not much. She frowned when it did nothing.
"Oh, but I have these." She touched one of her growing canines, then smirked and attacked Damon's neck.
"We don't have much time." Stefan informed Bonnie and she rolled her eyes, nodding, then tilting her head to look at him.
"Yes, Stefan, I know."
"Wonder what's happening, right now." Stefan, this time, barely focused on the road, and tried to mentally search for Damon, but he knew it was too far away, for it.
Stefan and Bonnie had decided that it was necessary to split up, just in case something actually did happen back at the university. And, if Meredith and Alaric stayed, they'd both have a better chance of surviving.
"He told me he was in the graveyard." Bonnie told Stefan, quietly, and he gaped at her, them switched lanes, without even looking.
"What? Why didn't you tell me?" He questioned her, and while he waited for her to respond, his mind reeled.
He tried to concentrate on the one thing that was bothering him. The one thought that he could not process, because his canines were digging into his lips, being this close to Bonnie.
"I don't know, Stefan-" She really watched him, this time, and he turned his head away. "Stefan?"
"I'm fine." He growled.
