*Some sexual scenes in this ;))) Hint, hint. Not as descriptive as it can be, but TVD isn't descriptive in the book and they don't even have human sex in it, so just warning you. Okay, bye. See you when you're (hopefully) reading the long ass author's note. Sorry, I just have too many feelings to get out!*

Stefan took it upon himself to check in, getting two rooms. They all knew that it was going to be awkward picking which room they were to be in.

Damon and Elena carried their bags down the halls, followed by Stefan, who had the keys, and an empty-handed Bonnie.

They went up the stairs, for the motel was so old that it had no elevator. It also had no workout room or pool, like nice hotels had these days.

They stopped in front a two-way hallway, searching through the numbers to decide which side to take. Stefan went left, headed towards rooms 210 and 211.

When they reached it, passing four pairs of doors on the way, they moved aside to let Stefan swipe the key cards, allowing them to continue onto their rooms.

The problem was that no one knew which room was theirs. Their group, split in half, would hold awkwardness either way.

Stefan leaned into Bonnie, who stood right beside him.

"Take the room with me, it's not safe for you to be alone with Elena and Damon needs some time to work things through with her." He whispered, even though the rest of the group hears.

When they both opened their mouthes to speak, Stefan cut them off by the click of the door to 210 opening. He rushed inside, pulling Bonnie with him, and slamming the door in Elena's and Damon's face.

"Looks like your rooming with me." Damon smirked and then knocked on Stefan's door.

"What?" Stefan called through and Damon's smirk grew wider.

"Busy already, brother?" There was no answer, only silence greeted him, so he continued on. "We need the key."

The door cracked open and only Stefan's hand was visible as he flung the card at Damon who caught it easily.

Damon turned around, just as Stefan's door shut closed, and swiped the card.

He groaned when the light flashed red.

"Really?" He asked, getting impatient each time, and frustratingly swiping it through, furiously, not helping their case.

"Here." Elena placed her hand on his and he froze, but melted under her delicate touch at the same touch. She brought out the fire in him. She was able to melt him, but was also able to freeze the ice, along with his heart.

She eased the card out of his unmoving hand, smiling softly at him, even sparing a giggle.

She swiped the card gently and the door clicked, revealing a green light on the handle. She opened it and dragged their bags inside.

Eventually, Damon recovered and picked his bag up, bringing it in. They stashed it in the corner, then moved away from each other, subconsciously.

Elena sat on the bed, and Damon stood near the window, looking out of it.

Surprisingly, he was the first one to break the silence.

"Do you think this dump has room service?" He asked and she laughed lightly.

"Why? It doesn't concern you." She told him and he glanced over his shoulder at her, then quickly looked back out the window, when he saw that she was watching him.

Her eyes were still black, no matter how she acted. This could be a trap for all I know.

Damon thought loudly, and winced when he realized that she could hear him.
